Thurio sighed. Why had they been told not to hurt this bastard? They could have taken the idiot out if not for those ridiculous orders. Now he was on the verge of going out. He shook his invisible head before casting another spell. He then went up into the air, putting more distance between him and the others.

In the trees

Thurio simply waits among the trees, only taking a few steps away from the road while still trying to keep Zakat in sight.

Thurio slowly moves closer until he has clear sight of Zakat. There he waits.

Not a whole lot. We have been instructed not to fight so he won't, yet.

If our electric friends continues to be a pain he can expect to be targeted by several things though. Admittedly, Morvan did make several of those actions quite a bit trickier.

Thurio is quite surprised by the attack but he manages to keep his head clear. "Do you really think she'll appreciate your action?"

With that he mumbles a few words and vanishes from view.

Varisian:
"Stories about Hellknights? Please, do share them. I'm curious."

"Why don't you start by telling us something about you? You are our host after all. Let us start by why you have your men hidden among the undergrowth surrounding us." Thurio's voice sounded calm and steady. This wasn't the first stare down get had been involved in and it probably wouldn't be the last.

Thurio had spent most of the trip quiet. The sighting of the Strix wasn't something to be worried about and as such he never mentioned it.

Dusk was an imposing presence but the weirdest thing about him was that he wasn't a giant. The storm was worse though.

Once they reached the path Thurio slowed down for a moment as he cast a spell on himself before speeding up a bit to keep up with the others.

At Morvan's instructions Thurio simply nods.

Thurio looks at the flying humanoid and nods, making sure it knows it has been spotted. Beyond that he does not appear to act but keeps a close eye on the flying being, ready to act should it be needed.

The price for tea is my own guess. It is double the cost of coffee consider a cup of tea costs double that of a cup of coffee.

The only words that came out of Thurio, beyond him mumbling to himself, was a complaint about how he should make his own alchemical supplies in the future. If none react he'd remain mute after.

Once found a place to make camp Thurio starts pulling many things from his handy haversack, beginning with his cooking kit. After gathering some firewood, possibly with the help of others, he starts a simple campfire which he then uses to boil some potatoes that he'll share with the others. It is bland food but adding something warm to trail rations is never a loss.

Afterwards he uses the same fire to make a pot of tea, pouring a cup of it for all who want one.

Before he heads of to his tent to sleep he checks on the horses one last time and does his regimen of stretches. Before entering his tent his nods to his fellows, "I will keep watch in the morning and make sure none approach us undetected." He then heads up into his tent and sleeps shortly after laying down, his familiar resting on his chest.

Thurio last is a good idea. He'll use the time to peruse Urashu's spellbook and see if there is anything of interest for him in there.

Just to be clear, We´re heading for a forest area, right?

By the way, if we borrow horses from the Order won't they come with riding equipment?

Male Human Diviner (Pact Wizard) 5 | Fighter (Sensate) 1

In regards to Morvan's comment about the timeline Thurio nods, "That just means I won't be able to add to my repertoire to tackle this specific mission. I will still have some tools to help us deal with things."[/b]

He later turns to Urashu, "I mentioned expanding my repertoire before and I wonder, would you mind me perusing your spell collection at some point? There might be things in there I could use. I'd of course be willing to return the favor after."

"Before I move to requisition my supplies, will there be any larger objects we'd need to transport or even things we want to keep hidden? I could use the same magic I used on the boulders for my test to both shrink items and make them inaccessible to others."

Before the assignment:
Thurio spent his time divided between three main tasks.

During the morning he could be seen sparring with the new armigers. While they initially hesitated on what they should behave like in front of a full signifer Thurio quickly insisted they treated him like an equal, if only during their training sessions. After all, he was a novice at swordplay and almost all of them were more experienced in that regard than he was. He learned quickly and by the end of the week many of the armigers were rather annoyed by both his progress and his use of magic in their fights.

Most afternoons were spent in the Blind Observatory. There Signifer Ariotol the Listener and the other seers were testing him to see if he'd be an asset to their group and training him once they figured he showed promise. It was intense, almost more intense than the sparring during the morning, but it was also both educational and, quite frankly, fun.

Evenings had less of an ordered character. Thurio spent those either reading up on his areas of expertise, working on his alchemy skill or discussing with his fellows. The worst part though was that he had not been able to secure a supply of cytillesh yet so, at least for now, he was stuck without his stun flasks.

While the others were talking another man walked in. He was a slim, some might say skinny, fellow without a single hair on his head. He had thick, bushy eyebrows that were neatly combed and modelled with wax while his face looked like he hadn't shaved for a few days.

"My apologies. I am Signifer Thurio Jeggare and I am to join you as well. I got held up in the Blind Observatory. Ariotol there already gave me the basics of the mission."

"As for preparation, when do we leave? I can see what I can do to prepare for different events but that would require me to prepare new spells. Which, as most of you know, means I won't have it ready until tomorrow morning."

Sorry guys but end of semester and figuring stuff out/making arrangements so I can finally get my MSc by the end of October is consuming quite a bit more time and energy than I anticipated.

I'll try my very best to get a post in tomorrow (Sunday)

Male Human Diviner (Pact Wizard) 5 | Fighter (Sensate) 1

Hello all

Thurio does have a craft skill, being Craft (Alchemy) and he will be using it. In addition he'll end up training his skill at arms with the fresh armigers.

He'll also be writing several letters, some to be sent out to his family and others to keep locked away.
