male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

Good gaming to everyone of you and have fun helping the Blood Knives.

male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

Well, I'm still here, theres just not much I see to post about since my betting partner has gone silent right now. That said if you want to dispose of Thiran I'm ok with it but he won't go down without a fight (as long as he notices the attacker at least ...)

"Well, seems as you've still won the bet in some way my friend."Thiran produces 10 gold pieces, most of foreign but well known mint."I hope you have no problem with cheliaxian coin as searching my purse for local mint could take some time"
As he sees Ragars tankard changing he has to smirk "It seems they want you working for them and sober to boot."

Hmm, I just noticed deathwatch is not dismissable, meaning I should maybe also hold the fluff effect of the black eyes for 30 Minutes. As I'm stuck with it I would also look around the room to see if I notice any other "nonliving" aura

After quickly scanning the whole room Thiran speaks to Castieen, lowering his voice almost to a whisper
"By now I'm quite sure we both placed our bets wrong. That man seems like he's able to kill everyone in here in seconds. We should better tip him nicely."
While he tries to hide it, by now Thiran looks slightly strained, being taken aback by the sudden demonstration of power.
Should he indeed be a member of those Knives and maybe not the only one of such power it poses the question for what they need us.

As you said all I'll make the check, but note that I'm untrained in Religion meaning that I'm theoretical unable to make a DC above 10 (unless you removed that limit for this check)

Knowledge Religion: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22

I would like to use my Soul Seer racial trait to check him with deathwatch.

Thiran seems to be quite fascinated by the spectacle.
So finally the bartender shows his face or is it another mask? Should he be undead as it seems that would indeed be impressive. Most places I know are even more hostile to them than to the fiendblooded.
As he closely watches the drow his eyes change too. What was only a slight, intangible wrongness now becomes apparent as his pupils seem to grow until the eyes are just two black holes.

I'm not 100% how far we are apart, I'll take the carefull approach and say 30 ft (seems far to much) to also account for the noise of the fight, should anyone have a problem with that just tell me.

Perception Check DC 17 to hear Sweets whisper: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Thiran is completely ignorant to the talk about him and keeps watching Lady Natalia approaching the brawlers.

Well, someone's certainly angry there, whatever the actual reason may be. Or very confident of her abilities, interrupting a fight like that usually doesn't pay of.
He just shrugs and waits what'll happen next, signaling the barkeep to refill his ale.

male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

Thiran looks surprised at the sudden eruption Now that's certainly interesting. Does she know them or is she just annoyed of the noise? And she seems to have one of those knives.

He calls to her with an smile
"Let them drag it out, else none of them will shut up about how he would have totally won. He then adds with a lower voice to towards the Elf"Besides I don't want to loose my bet due to the big guy currently leading, no matter how dire the dwarf's chances may be"

male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

Hmm, quite a lot posts are getting deleted here right now

As it seems no one else wants to introduce him oder herself Thiran turns back to his betting partner and tries to get a conversation starting
"It seems your man is indeed winning, maybe I underestimated his larger size and powerfull build. Well you can't win every time, it's better to loose a small bet than something" He makes a short pause, tilting his head once to each side "else."

male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

Once the two are done staring each other down and begin to wrestle he speaks up again, adressing not only the elf but most everyone nearby
"Well then, since we are sitting here together it seems only polite to introduce myself. My name is Thiran and I only recendly came to this fair city. Is there anything special going on here tonight or anything I should of about this place?"
Meanwhile he only keeps half his attention on the fight while once again mustering the room.

Thiran gets himself a chair and leans back "However our small bet may end, this promises to be entertaining."

male Tiefling Hexcrafter Magus 3

After some time Thiran can't help but notice the group of people gathered in one corner and overhears some of their conversation. It seems I'm far from the only one invited here today.
He starts to approach the group just as the big guy and the dwarf seem to be getting into a brawl. Some of them seem to be far from subtle, talking about such things in the open. Well, that can't be helped.
"I would hold that bet if you have no problem to open the pot to a stranger. And if you dare to, I would even raise my bet to ten gold pieces."

Also just saw this thread, somehow I missed it completly. Right now I haven't really got time, thus this post is kinda short.

An inconspicuous looking man in simple garb enters the tavern, going straight for the bar "An ale please." Hmm, bar as one in of many, at least whoever asked for me isn't as stupid as that merchant who invited me to his house in open day.
Once he has his drink he shortly sniffes at it and while taking a first sip starts to muster the other patrons.

I may not be the strongest here, or the most sturdy, but I can hold my own in open meele as well. Who needs pure muscle when you can get some magic thrown into the mix as well? Not that you two wouldn't look talented.

Looking at the suprisingly high HP of the rest I also just noticed that we could roll and only take half +1 if whe get lower.
If thats still open I would like to do it.

Spoiler:
1d8 ⇒ 71d8 ⇒ 4

That would net me 2 HP if taken on a per level basis or 1 if taken only for all hit dice. Right now I'm not sure how it was meant.

I have also slightly updated his goals (The "2 year" part was intentionally left out since as such it's hard to place a timeline on it).

Spoiler:

Goals: His main goal is, as with most people to live his life as well as possible and dreaming of one day returning to Cheliax as a man of wealth and power at least rivaling that of his "father", having finally left the second class status Tieflings "enjoy" there behind. He is also still searching Korlins murderer and their employer.

Just added the Myth Weaver Link to the alias page too.

Considering those things are even part of the paizo cannon I have no problem with them.

Sadly no time right now to compile anything.

So, I have put most informations into this alias now and done some small improvements to the backstory (I'll maybe still look into it again later today). One thing that doesn't really have a place anywhere in the charactersheet but is important to note anyway is that I plan to see the Hexes as part of his heritage and not of his Magus training and they are also one of the reasons Korlin did choose him.

Questions:

What does he bring to the Blood Knives: He is a strong fighter and knows a few magic tricks, but most of all he is good at killing people fast and then vanishing as fast as he came, using his magic to escape undetected, leaving only his mark behind. As he can easily change the mark that could be used to serve as warning for all that cross the Blood Knives and also as a tool to intimidate someone ("You have been marked, so help us now and we'll remove it or face the consequence. And know that we will find you.") Once he has a few more level he can do this even more effectively with the various curses he gets for beeing a Hexcrafter (read: Allmost all of them).
While he is no petty thief and lacks any mechanical skill whatsoever he did take a few personal or magical documents from his fathers enemies in the past and would have no problem doing it again.

Goals: His main goal is, as with most people, to live his life as well as possible. He is also still searching Korlins murderer and their employer, taking every chance to find new informations about them.

When he gets caught: Usually he would try to escape using vanish and once out of sight to take a inconspicuous appearance using the Disguise Hex. Should that not be possible but his assailants seemingly manageable, he would try to kill them as fast and silent as possible before escaping. If his capture is inevitable he would usually just surrender, hoping for a chance to escape later on or if that would compromise people that have his loyalty (which are few enough) fight to the death.
