Background:

While Therbin grew up in the Lartmil Mountains, his family line traced back all the way to first dwarves in the Crystalmist Mountains. As such, he studied the history and martial training of the ancient dwarves just as all males in his family had. In order to better appreciate and understand the weapons and equipment of his forefathers, he also spent time learning how to make and repair his equipment.

Once he was of age, he began working as a caravan guard for trips to the Kron Hills for raw materials as well as Verbobonc with armor and weapons to sell in the markets. It was during one of these trips that he heard of bandits harassing caravans near the small village of Homlett. Once his duties were complete, he headed there to see what he could do to help. Together with some other adventurers that he met, they cleared out an ancient evil temple. However, the battles took a toll on Therbin and he needed some time to recuperate and continue his training.

Refreshed and ready to continue his fight, he met up with some of his companions who had recently finished defeating a group of slavers. They gave him some information regarding giants in the area who were involved so he set out for his next adventure.
