I've been a big fan of D20 Modern since I spotted the shiney cover art on the shelf at the local nerd-store so many years ago. I admit I haven't had a chance to purchase Pathfinder yet (next on my massive list-o-stuff-I-covet), but I hear many good things and would love to see a reboot.
I'm also in the sci-fi boat moreso than the mundane modern boat, but the core is what's important. I'd be willing to spring $100-200+ for some "spiff" as it has been put. I'd also be interested in "auditioning" some writing if at all possible.
