So our group just finished CoT #3 and I have to say as a player I was extremely angry! The adventure description lead me to believe...

Spoiler:
...that we were going to "resolve" the shadow creatures issue. Then to my dissapointment we didn't. We just got another stupid macguffin to help us along. After just completing an entire adventure devoted to getting us an item "the chelish crux" to HELP US ALONG!!

Look...our party joined a murder-play...to get into the mayor's house...to find the Chelish crux...which has a key that will let us into the pathfinder lodge...all so we could end the threat that the shadowcreatures pose to westcrown. The pathfinder lady said that's what would happen (or led us to believe it), and it didn't. We didn't even get a climtic boss fight, just some more minions (even though, admittedly, they were a bit more powerful than standard mooks). Lame!!

It's like I'm watching the second part of a trilogy of movies, where the director and script-writer knew there would be a third movie going into it, so they didn't give real resolution to the plot. They waited till the third movie. I hate that!!!!!!!

When will I get some damn resolution!?!?

Did anybody else feel this way?!?!

AAAARGHHH!!!!

Or you could just add a few feats, a cmb and cmd and call it good. The system was designed with compatability in mind....

I will definately be pestering my DM to run this one......I still dream of completing The Mountains of Madness........

1. Call of Cthulhu
2. Call of Cthulhu
3. Ravenloft
4. Ravenloft
5. Darkmatter (Alternity)

Why do these discussions continue to run down off topic courses? For example the use of the word "core" and "why evil alignments should/shouldn't be played". I'm really getting confused........

Hero Lab from lone wolf uses the core rules. Although they got access to the pdf version of the CORE rules the same time everyone else did, so all the description text is still missing from the pathfinder data set. But they have assured us that an update is forthcoming (end of next week).

Why is the campagin setting pdf 35 dollars and this one is priced at 10?
