About TheBigBlueFrog
I started gaming in the mid-80's, playing out of the Red Box with the Elmore art on the front. My first adventure was just me and the DM, and we ran the adventure side by side on a bus ride to Six Flags, Atlanta, GA. Played Basic D&D all the way through Junior High, and lost track of it in High School. I started playing again in college, late-80's. I got busy later in my college years and stopped again, after buying a load of AD&D 2nd Edition products.
In 2011 I met up with a group of gamers about 30 minutes from my home, and started playing Dungeons & Dragons 4th edition. One of them introduced me to Pathfinder, and now I'm hooked. Pathfinder reminded me why I loved roleplaying.
For about two years, I ran both D&D 4th Edition and Pathfinder (Society and modules) until my son was born in 2013. I've been slowly working my way back into gaming, mainly attending Mobicon, our local gaming convention in Mobile, Alabama.
2018 was my sixth year attending Mobicon, and my first time as a GM. I typically play about 30 hours of PFS at Mobicon, and I'm attending more weekly games now that my son is getting older. I'm also running more games, and adding Starfinder Society to my weekly lineup.
In 2019 I celebrated my 50th birthday by attending DragonCon in Atlanta, GA. I played about 50 hours of PFS and SFS, playing my first scenarios of 2nd Edition.
