Mute reappears and slide up between the crowd to look at the datapad.

"I know that routing number. I've had...dealings involving numbers like that. I believe it is an AbadarCorp branch but that doesn't mean that AbadarCorp themselves are involved.

I myself am interested who this conspirator is. Now, we are getting a real ship to chase after them and not some rickety, old aethership to follow along with this festival, right?"

'Head down, eyes down'
Merrik kept repeating himself as the large and wealthy dragon moved about the stock of gladiators. He continues to walk past Merrik, who was the only human in the lot. On his second pass, it looks back at Merrik's Master, 'laughs' "I know you must be messing with me to include this human. You know they are not even worth the air they breath."

Merrik's Master replies, "Sometimes, life has a weird sense of humor and has given this one...certain abilities outside of the norm. He is not one to ignore."

The Lord laughs in the Master's face, flames licking outside his jowls, "I then challenge this notion." He point's at Master, "And you will not deny me. Bremedy! Turn this slug to dust."

A youngling red steps forward into the ring, a wide open crevasse with jagged rocks and deep pits forming a non-welcoming environment for creatures smaller than the dragons that live in the area. Merrik strides out and draws his hammer and shield then leaps with surprising agility onto a rock point.

With a roar and a gout of flame from the Lord, the match begins. Using the same agility, Merrik leaps up onto the young red before it could react. After a slam from his hammer, a ripple of energy surged through his shield. With a quick movement, the shield slid its way through the dragon's neck and it's head fell into the chasm, disappearing from sight. Before the body fell, Merrik makes a mighty leap from the and dropped heroically onto the ringside. Returning his equipment to it's restful state, he stand in his standard slave pose.

Utter shock is the only word that could be use to describe the scene of dragons. The Master begins laughing, "Now that you have forced my hand, he is no longer on the market. If you wish to press that issue, I would be happy to make this flesh bag behead another of your assets..."

The lord growls as his eyes light up but quickly turns, motioning for his gladiators, in formation, to leave. Master continues to laugh as he instructs his fighters to leave, commanding Merrik to approach him, "It is good to see that my actions are not wasted and now it's time for the fruit of my labors bare some return. I have something for you, my boy. Something that will make me well known throughout Bahamut."

The environmental shield bubbles pop up over Ray's sensitive bits. He gives Captain Kahir a salute and strolls out of the ship to join the others.

As the stellar winds sweep across the barren rock, Ray swings around his guitar and plucks a dark somber cord, "Whew, welcome to nowhere. Population...us...."

The scene of them entering the system sounds really amazing. Was there a picture of it in they book per chance?

Ray is feeling crowded and not sure where to start. He sees a crate Hopefully allowed and sneakily kicks it away. In an impressive amount of foot work, he skirts the crate to an open portion in a dense part of the market. He hops up and swings his guitar around and plucks a hard power cord.

"Lend me your ears, my four armed friends.
One of your kin, has something amiss
and we must seek the seeker.

So pay us your heed,
and help us to seek
to keep our society keen."

Mute hesitates giving Shrani the little beast. Though the light of her eyes catches him off guard again and fights hard to keep his senses. Looking a little forlorn at Ticcus, who he feels understands his turmoil without words.

Not turning in his uncle for reward creds, leaving his friend to the augmented zombies, or even stealing from his new best friend dwarf after his last mission has ever left him feeling this much regret.

"Shrani, my dear, mind if I hold your new friend while we make way to our next stop? How are we looking on time there, Kadef?"

As the creature begins to make cute noises and rubs against him, the image in his mind of him being stuck in a cage begins to change and flash into the the tiny critter in the cage and a turmoil churns inside of him but his resolve remains.

Cool. Might be busy this weekend. I will keep up to date and actually take a turn when it seems right so feel free to drop it in or ignore it as you will. Was there anything to repair in that room and would Sev be able to check before he leaves?

Seeing the creature fall, Mute materializes and half salutes Sev, "Nice kill, mate. Good to see you in your element and thanks for the insight."

Returning his pistol to its holster and giving a flare to the swing of his baton, he sees the next foe to fall attacking the comedian.

"Oi beasty, that one there has a special to make on Eoxian Comedy Network. As his new manager, I think its time for you to die."

On his turn- Mute bends the dark to his will moving up to the creature, using the shadows to trick it.

And makes a swing with his baton.

Seeing the glass dance on the wind in the distance, Mute is being uncharacteristically quiet again in as many times as he has since the start of this mission.

I'd imagine Baragh would come over and ask if he was alright of which the response would be, "I AM GREAT!!! We got to see dead things, shoot people, survive a storm made up of mostly glass and," he begins to whisper side ways to the dwarf, "I think I met my future ex-wife!" with a side glance to Elle.

They would laugh and exchange some playful punches with Baragh's almost knocking Mute over, "Look me up again sometime, little guy. Can't say you'd convert me to Iomedae's light but I'd be happy to cover you again from the dark."

He'd pad by Vecro and stop in front of him. Mute craned all way up, Vecro seeming like he's looking at his feet merely to return the gaze from the halfling. Mute would eventually break the silence, "Your all right, 4 arms." And he would try to fist bump all four hands.

Mute would chat with Kaeon and Mech for a moment, Kaeon mostly, as he would fight hard in trying to emulate Mech's speech but thanks them both for fighting along side of him.

He would catch Elle move from his peripherals. He'd run up to her and wave her to stop and talk. Loosing the words, he simply grabs her hand takes a knee (I'm sure forcing her to bend over a bit). After another moment, he finally kisses her hand and smiles. "I most certainly would like to see you again, my dear. Maybe then you would see me more than an annoying child and someone worthy of your cold and logical love." He stands but lowering his head with his eyes closed. Feeling out of place, he makes a quick bow and runs off, I'm sure leaving Elle more confused about these weird biologicals.

He pop's into Arvin's office, slowly with his hands wide, "Now I know that wasn't the smoothest mission but I promise, the next will go way better. C'mon! You know you need me!"
