TLDR QUESTION:
I'm wondering if the bonus to Natural Armor from things like Bark Skin or Amulet of Natural Armor would stack with the "+1 Natural Armor Bonus" from some familiars.
MY UNDERSTAND/RULES INTERPRETATION:
As far as I can tell there at two "types" of bonuses to Natural Armor. "Natural Armor Bonus" and "Natural Armor Enhancement Bonus", from what I understand "Natural Armor Bonus" just sort of add up while "Natural Armor Enhancement Bonus" works like other AC categories. You use the highest and disregard the rest.
So if you had an Amulet of Natural Armor +1 and had Bark Skin cast on you you'd just use the +2 from Barskin, and disregard the +1 from the amulet.
However if you were playing a race that has a "Natural Armor Bonus" you'd still ad the whole amount for Barkskin and retain the full amount of you "Natural Armor Bonus".
FALLOW UP QUESTION:
Assuming my conclusion is true, dose that mean that anything that says it gives a "Natural Armor Bonus" rather then a "Natural Armor Enhancement Bonus" would stack with the latter?
So if you were to take the Alchemist Mutagen, which says it gives the Alchemist a "+2 natural armor bonus" would that then stack with anything that gave a "Natural Armor Enhancement Bonus", like Barkskin?
