"Pfft. Trolls. tbenox begins. "We've faced worse threats than these simpletons." "Oddly enough, this is one of those times where burning something as a Goblin is acceptable by the rest of society...not that I've ever cared. "Shall we? We shall. Eagar to dust off his rusty magic chops, Tbenox , along with the royal enforcer, Arcos, appear bloodthirsty. Clearly city life is not for them. Tbenox readies a teleport spell targeting the entire royal council. We'll go one way or another

"Borders aside," Tbenox begins, obviously drawing the ire of the centaurs as he dismisses their accusations, "before four of you decide to string me up to your backsides and draw and quarter me... hm... he pauses for a moment, appears to blank out for a moment and returns with a smile on his face. "Excuse me, I just realized the efficiency of a centaur. All the pulling and carrying abilities of a horse without the sheer annoyance," he glances at Xzin a moment, "of an actual horse. This amuses me." "Anyway, before you rain death on us all for your territorial psychological inadequacies, please, tell me. What exactly did our traveling companion do? It doesn't look like he remembers, either.

"Actually, I was hoping you'd brew us a pot of that tea you described. It sounds quite nice. Tbenox produces the mushrooms from his pouch. "sorry, I have small hands, but there are plenty more in my pack. "The tendriculous presented no challenge to my group, I'm afraid. It was dead before it even knew what was going on. A victory for this group and kingdom? Yes, but I dare say a victory for all on the greenbelt. What an ugly creature". "Let's speak, as agreed." Tbenox says with a smile.
"You'll have to excuse my companions. Typically they mean no harm, but at times I must admit it is difficult for even myself to dismiss the influences of the goblin tribes we were raised in. We are an impulsive lot at times, and most certainly impatient, hence the threats of wolves, kicking down your door... all things most Goblins are happy to do without even a warning. If anything, we weren't any better than those who may have come to your home to bother you and make those false accusations." "As far as lying. I can assure you we are telling the truth at this time, and I would be happy to answer any questions you have for us to the best of my ability," This doesn't guarantee the truth later, if it comes down to being in a better position to attempt to lie again. I'm manipulating the situation in our favor. "Is there anything we could possibly do to garner your trust? Perhaps you have some pesky monster on your lands that needs dealt with or anything of the sort?"
"Ma'am." Tbenox speaks up, loudly enough to allow his voice to travel through the door, "If you would allow me a moment to speak. I have heard the tales surrounding this home in the short time I have been in this land, stories of missing children and godless rituals, and I for certain do believe that these stories are completely unsubstantiated. I for one would like to see these rumors put to rest, as I'm sure you are so that you may continue to live in peace without fear of pitchforks and fire. While we may be expanding our kingdom, perhaps we may be able to work out something where we leave this area unmolested in exchange for your guidance and wisdom. Would you care to step outside for just a while?"
Good Tbenox thinks to himself. "So...friend. he gives a surreptitious glance at the party, Again, I do apologize for the situation earlier, as well as my own personal outburst. Could you provide a little information as to why you were exploring this particular area of the greenbelt and how you came across a group of the scalykind? We may even be able to help each other should we be interested in attaining a common goal.
Tbenox's eyes light up with fury, knowing well that his attempts to charm the gnome are failing. He looks at the others, "Perhaps someone would like to speak for him?" growing used to using magic as a crutch for certain situations, and never one to skip an opportunity for senseless dramatics, he waves his hands around again for a moment, casting ghost sound and having his spell speak to him with the power of sixteen shouting humans, "WHAT. HAPPENED. HERE?!"
Tbenox looks curiously at his gnome prisoner. He steps behind the bound and gagged body, waves his hands about, chants quietly to himself and casts a spell on the gnome. charm person, arcane pool'd dc 17 "Hi. I'm Tbenox. I apologize for my friend's dog here," he looks at Skaz and Varg, knowing he probably insulted the both of them, "however we were simply defending ourselves as I'm sure you can most graciously understand. I would like to inform you that I have, despite our ancestral past, curbed my desire to destroy you and your companions. But I must say I am most certainly curious as to what transpired here. Would you be able to help out, friend? A favor for a favor. Y'see."
Tbenox spends 3 of his 7 days copying scrolls in preparation for craft slaving. taking 10 on all 3 spellcraft checks to copy Bull's Strength, Fox's Cunning and Cat's Grace into the spellbook, Total spellcraft is 21. The next 4 days are followed up with some handy cooperative crafting along side Skaz for the benefit of all. Making a dex or Cha item for basically everyone. I'll make an INT item for myself at some point. CL is only 8, so autopass.
