About Tadanu Esgalion

Appearance:

Tadanu is extremely tall and slender even by elven standards. His exceptional height and willowy appearance accentuates the extreme grace and fluidity that he moves with. He seems to almost float across the ground and despite his height moves fluidly through the bush as if being part of it. His hair is worn long as is the tradition of the Ekujae peoples with several braids interwoven through it. His skin is deeply tanned and a complex tracery of geometric tattoos covers his face to bring attention to his deep violet eyes that seem to cut through you. He is dressed in lightweight leather armor dyed in a pattern of lush greens and browns. A well wrapped shortbow slung on his back and a pair of short handled handaxes hang at his waist are overshadowed by the mighty elven curveblade that he handles with grace and skill.

Personality:

Is a very frank and honest individual who tells it like it is. Will not suffer fools and sees anyone who is willing to go into a situation blind as foolish and will tell them.

Background:

Tadanu is a member of the Ekujae Elves of the Mwanji Expanse. He spent the first part of his life amongst his own kind living within the jungles of the Mwanji expanse with much of that time spent in the Mwanji jungle. He spent much of his time out with members of his clan traveling the jungle. He learned much in that time about the threats in the jungle and has become accustomed to them. Around his 100th year of life Tandanu like many of his people felt the calling of the brightness. The calling tugged at Tandanu so that he eventually felt the need to leave the lands of his clan in search of the brightness. He spent several years wandering the region of the expanse eventually ending up in Whitebridge Station. The settlement there run by the Aspis consortium although not welcomed by the Ekujae elves was tolerated. It was here that Tandanu met a group of merchants that were looking for a guide. Tandanu decided that helping keep the ignorant merchants alive while they wandered the jungle was the honorable thing to do. As well, he felt that it may help him in his seach for the brightness had been searching for. This led to several other expeditions that Tandanu became part of and despite his apparent arrogance and abbrasiveness he gained a reputation as an excellent guide. Most recently he has been asked by the Aspis consortium to head to Eleder to lead an expedition that is setting up another trading post in the Kaaya Lands. Still questing for the inspiration that will lead to his brightness Tandanu has boarded the Tattooed Lady a small trading ship out of Senghor headed towards Elder to meet with the expedition party.
