Attack roll w/ crossbow: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 - 2 = 7

Stig points the crossbow towards the remaining enemy and looses a bolt that gets lost in the storm. Gods damn it! Stupid thing doesn't work! Dropping the now empty crossbow he attempts to make his way down to the lower deck but loses his balances and tumbles to the ground.

Stig looks from one shark man to the next as he responds to Faruq. "I prefer to punch people. I find I am much better at it than this kind of thing." His eyes focus on the closest Adaro "Hey weakling! Come over here like a real man." Trying to ignore the discomfort in his stomach he curls back his arm and chucks the spear at it. "Can you use this Selena?" He looks down at the Kayal and raises the crossbow. "I have an idea that doesn't require this." A big grin spreads across his face.

Move - move to the side of the upper deck. Standard - throw spear. Swift - +1 to fort again. Free - Have a cool idea

Looking up to the top deck and seeing Danner in agony snapped Stig back into the moment. "Hold on!" He raced up to the top deck to check on Danner, and grab the spear. Pointing over to the other side of the deck he makes an attempt to distract Danner "Hey what's that? I think it is something you should look at." As Danner looks over, Stig reaches down with both hands and pulls the spear out, wincing a little at Danner's cry of pain. "You'll be fine. Its just like a splinter, only bigger." Stig turns to Faruq as he readies the spear "Are there any other ranged weapons on here? Maybe a harpoon or something?"

Move - move up to the top deck, next to Danner. Standard - pull the spear out. Swift - +1 to Fort

Stig sinks down next to Selena. "I'll keep her company. I just need to stay still for a bit" his head falls into hands as he speaks. The big man is clearly also not used to the lurching of the boat.

"Happy to help wherever I am needed captain." He moves quickly to wherever has the least manpower.

Stig would prefer to either help load boxes or tie things down.

I can donate my 270 for more scrolls if you need it. My list of items was for fun anyways, nothing necessary. I will just use one gp of my leftover gold from creation to get ten sacks and call it good if that is the case.
It’s a new monk archetype, monk of many sacks!

They can use two at once! And it only replaces flurry of blows!

    I think I remember reading this in horror adventures a while ago actually. Its an official PF rule. The numbers they used were a bit ridiculous though, like a pit fiend becoming good after casting bless water 5 times consecutively.

    Do we want to all chip in for a wand of infernal healing/cure light wounds? It is 150gp per person which still leaves everyone with 120gp to spend on whatever they want.

    "I have to say" Stig says as he takes the contract that is handed to him "you really know how to make a job sound interesting." He takes the piece of paper and folds it up before tucking it into his belt. "The pay sounds good and the action better. I'm in" he says with a big grin as he sticks out his hand to shake Esteban's. Good to be moving on. I was wanting to head out pretty soon anyway. "Now whats this contract thing?" Upon looking around and seeing other members of the group looking at the contracts, it clicks. He pulls out the paper that he had tucked away and flattens it out on the table before signing it. As he hands the contract to Esteban with one hand, Stig downs the rest of his wine using the other. "When do we leave?"

    Stig has 8 int and, as he hails from a more tribal culture, isn't very familiar with the typical way of doing business

    "I don't know much about getting rid of the disease." Stig looks at the rest of the group. "Anyone got any ideas?"

    If we have ideas then Stig would be happy to help. Otherwise, he will take a trophy, maybe a claw, and clean up.

    Seeing Shakaro reel in a body Stig readies himself to start lifting. Upon hearing the call he pulls as fast as he can. "Got it!" Once he gets the body up he unfastens the rope and tosses it back down, a foot or so to Shakaro's right so as not to hit him by accident.

    Its 150 feet of rope. Could Shwarto possibly tie the nearest body using a loop in the rope and tie the other relatively nearby body with the end? If that is not possible I suppose one at a time works

    Assuming Shwarto flew next to the bodies

    As the crowd gathers around the group, Stig does his best to brush them off politely as he moves. Stig quickly ties his ropes end to end and ties one end around a nearby root. "Hey Shwarto!" Stig waves to get his attention. "I am going to throw this end of the rope to you. If you can tie it around the bodies then we can pull them up." He mimes the actions in a very exaggerated manner as he speaks so as to clearly explain his idea.

    "I agree. I have several coils of rope we can use. I could lower you down so that you could tie the ends of them around a body. Then I can pull them up" Stig offers before pulling out three coils of rope, each fifty feet long.

    If it is good enough:

    Stig bends over and pets the cat-like creature in front of him. He carefully examines the wound to check if it is infected but sees no sign of any saliva or the red foam. "Looks like Jaqu will be fine. Just needs a bit of care to make sure that wound heals nicely but there doesn't seem to be any infection"

    Stig goes over to Shakaro and offers his rope as well as his hand in retrieving the bodies.

    Selena basically got it spot on :). The investiture pool allows me to cast divine favor on myself for one point which is increased by fates favored to a +2 to hit and damage. Adding in the strength and inspire courage gets us up to +12 damage per hit (huh. I dont know where got 13 from. My damage should have been 45). Haste and flurry of blows gives 2 extra attacks so that is a minimum of 39-60 dmg per round if all hit. I can get another attack by spending 1 ki which raises it to 52-80 dmg in one round. This is all excluding crits.

    Stig steps to the side of the beast and begins pummeling it with his fists, hoping to draw attention away from the catlike creature on the other side.

    Stig will 5 foot step to the opposite side of Jaqu to be flanking and use flurry of blows (w/ Power Attack).

    Stíg smiles as he looks at the dragon. Reminds me a bit of home. He slams his fists together as he chants in a language not often heard in this part of the world Hallit. Light begins to peek out from under his clothes, shining through the openings. As he starts running towards the dragon the light continues to spread to the rest of his body. The light source becomes abundantly clear when the tattoos that are visible begin glowing. He picks up the pace as he runs at the creature, his feet almost leaving the ground.

    "Something interesting. Finally." Stíg looks at the others with a large grin. Seeing Selena hide, "It will be fine. Its just a dragon. Besides, I'm betting you are stronger than you think." He laughs before running out the door to get a look at the dragon. A strange rush of air follows him out.

    "It is a noble desire to want to protect your neighbors, certainly one that I can respect. It is difficult to decide whether your presence would have changed what happened but what is certain is that you have the chance to do so now. That is something that can be controlled." Stíg pauses, and picks up one of the plants that Shakaro laid out on the table, examining it closely. "I have wanted to leave for a while now" he continued, turning the gnarled white root over in his hands. "If you are looking to go up river, I would join." Stíg sets the root back on the table and picks up the tankard that fell before he turns to look at Shakaro directly. "I despise those who would attack the innocent and would gladly help in retrieving your fellow villagers. I think you will find that I have some skills that could be very useful in your mission" he finishes with a smile.

    Finally, a good reason to get out of this place.

    Hearing the small man introduce himself reminded Stíg that he should do the same. "My name is Stíggandr but you can call me Stíg" he says, awkwardly pausing for a moment before extending his hand towards Shwarto, clearly proud of his mastery of social customs. "Good to meet you Shwar-too" he replied, not quite getting the pronunciation right. While the woman who also just introduced herself looked like a gaunt human who was lacking some color, her eyes revealed that there was more to it than that. He was a little unnerved by the lack of pupils and found himself staring slightly too long to be polite. He again extends his hand to shake, this time towards Selena, while he introduces himself "The name's Stíg. Nice to meet ya." Turning back to the lizard man who had started the conversation "What's so important about going upriver?" He takes a long sip from the mug that the barmaid brought, spilling a little of the dark liquid as he sets it back down rather quickly.

    Lady, you have no idea. Stígandrr, having trouble finding consistent work, had resorted to taking odd jobs whenever the opportunity arose. The most recent of which involved guarding someone who had gotten on the bad side of a local ruffian. The work although not inherently difficult, was made to be so due to the incredible ability of his client to be completely ignorant of any survival instincts he might have possessed. Stíg puts several coins on the table, "An ale will do just fine." He pauses for a second before his expression dims, as if struck by a depressing thought "Actually, make that something much stronger." I have to find something that pays better than this, or at least something interesting. His chair, which seems far too small for him, creaks as he leans back in it. Stíg surveys his surroundings thoroughly for the first time since he entered the building at least ten minutes ago. He realized he hadn't been paying much attention to the people near him before but as his gaze moved from person to person he found a multitude of individuals who stood out.

    Stíg's Appearance:
    At first glance Stíg seems like he might be an Orc if not for the lack of tusks and green skin. He towers above typical humans even when he is hunched over and he looks capable of lifting said people up easily with one hand. Numerous tattoos are scrawled over his body, one of the more prominent ones not hidden by clothes sprawls across his head and looks like wisps of air. Stíg chooses to wear a combination of his cultures' clothing, mostly consisting of furs and hides. On his wrists can be seen his magical bracers of armor and his huge leather belt has a depiction of a bull head in the center. His head is mostly bare with the exception of a jet black ponytail in the back. Stígandrr stands at 7 foot 1 inches and weighs 310 pounds. This is in the orc ranges for height and weight because bred for war and giant ancestry both list being larger than average in their descriptions.

    Stíg reporting for duty. I will be going over the alias tomorrow to make sure it is up to snuff.

    I realize I rolled HP in the recruitment post. Is it okay to keep that?
