Appearance:

A cheery heart faced woman with sad brown eyes whose pale cheeks and strong nose are often lush red from intoxication. A faded hook shaped scar runs from her bottom heavy lip through her well defined chin, indicating at one point it was most likely much worse. Her dark eyebrows are thin but usually very animated. Covering her high forehead in a blunt bang style and rolling all the way past her feet and beyond, her hair is easily her most dominant feature. Wavy on most occasions her hair twists and turns of its own according, assisting her in everyday activities such as dressing, eating, lifting, cleaning, combat, and of course, drinking. It's shade often changes depending on the night but usually it consists of an Amber color, usually more golden yellow at the top but fades into a darker caramel as it descends to the tips, uncannily similar in tone to the color of Ale.

Her garb consists a white leather headband hidden by her bangs and a pale iron circlet atop her head. Her tunic is comprised of chalk white snake scales over a slim fitting embroidered robe. Her heeled boots are stylish black and worn from dancing around enemies as easily as she does in a tavern. On her belt swings several tankards, cups, and mugs of various magical and religious significance.

Personality:

Aria is warm and loving. When sober she is less so but her good nature still shines through. Her sadness is just more difficult to hide. Her sense of humor proves to be boisterous and well meaning often used to cut through tension or as a defense mechanism. She fears hurting her friends and hopes her love for the drink isn't covering her regret.

Backstory:

Backstory bullet points(in progress)
-Aria's begins in a sleepy town of BearNose somewhere on the southern border between Irrisen and The Land of the Linnorm Kings
-She worked as a barmaid and helped her adoptive halfling father and human mother run an inn. Their lives were simple.
-adventurers would come and through the town with ever increasing hordes of treasure and tall tales about their escapades. Such stories sparked wonder and envy in 17 year old Aria.
-Despite having her head in the clouds, she's taught to work hard and play hard as well as worship Cayden Calien
-she idolized him as the embodiment of compassion, courage and adventure
-she wants to be like him. She wants a life beyond her podunk village.
-stifled emotionally and filled with wanderlust she mistakes a group of witches for adventurers frequenting the bar.
-after several intriguing sncounters she is eventually seduced into their coven with promises of power and greatness
- she learns a great deal from the hags and while initially wary of their cruelty and wanton chaotic natures, she joins their ranks

-years of peer pressure, dark influence and perhaps her own inner selfishness twists her.
- She began committing small crimes at first using the her newly learned spells, taking what she wants and punishing those who were crul to her. But eventually her actions escalate and torturing/harrassing people indescriminatly with her new found powers becomes commonplace
-one night she's pushed to far and ends up killing a few townsfolk who had come to burn one of the witches they had managed to capture.
Though the witch was grateful she had begun to doubt her path
-her resolve completely diminished after she witnessed the witches begin to take our their wickedness on an Azalata, Lyrakien (an inhabitant of the same plane as Cayden Calien)

-this proves a step too far and she all at once realizes the horror of her actions.
-pretending her intentions Vile, Aria convinces the witches that she wants to keep the creature to prolong its suffering.
-Aria instead nurses it back to health and is faced with judgement from her new friend for her checkered history and deplorable actions.
-after a few nights of emotional conversation with the insightful being, she attempts to return to her life of bar wenching, removing every trace
-but after only a few days back the coven and village are assaulted by a group of wandering penitent witchhunting knights who capture most of the hags including Aria(who confessed her crimes)
-she was imprisoned and sent to trial, her parents had disowned her and the village of BearNose wanted her burned.
-Three things helped her overcome her debilitating guilt and eventually forgive herself. Her friend Ione(Lyrakien), the teachings of the order of the penitent and her love for Cayden via alcohol.

-One night she was blessed with a vision where she met with Cayden. He hates a drink and a frank conversation. He explained that he could have the life she'd always wanted and payback for her crimes. She needed to join the order of the penitent. And maybe build a really big pub someday.
-After a lengthy trial she plead guilty and begged for an opportunity to redeem herself for her crimes, But it was the testimony after a testimony from her Lyrakien ally(Ione) that convinced the local courts to hand her to the order where she spent half a decade training and then fighting with the knights, using her knowledge of the wicked and various witchy powers to aid them.
-spending her days after paying back her debt to the order traveling from pub to inn, praising Cayden, blessing drinks and helping people with their problems
-Under her watch, the innocent were protected, drinks flowed freely and she became a household name.
-by this point, she had become a folk hero to the people of the north; protecting, capturing degenerates and upolding liberty almost always with a drink in hand. Confronting everything from warlords, dire mammoths and even jardwig witches. Not to mention Collecting evey mug, tankard, or cup with even a whiff of enchantment in the hopes of eventually opening the greatest temple/Ale house in the land in devotion to the Swashbuckling Prince of the heavens.
