I've been trying to use the flip mats for combat in the Incident at Absalom station but so far none of the products seem to match up to what's available.

Has anyone had any luck getting maps for the Acreon, the PC's starship, and the Drift Rock?

Or am I gonna have to draw it out on the basic metal thing again.

That's still a bit unclear and confusing, hence why I provided 2 situations to help clarify.

Am I right in thinking that it would be:

1) 100 XP per character
2) 1000 XP per character

So just some simple division?

I read through a couple of sections in the Core RB again and I still can't find a clear answer...

I'm wondering if XP for a given task/combat is split between all party members or is the XP for defeating a monster given to each party member at 100%. A couple of examples:

1. The characters manage to convince a group of unruly children to take their medicine by putting it into a little bit of sugar. 400 XP awarded. 4 characters, so does each PC get 100XP or 400 XP?

2. The medicine turns the children into mutants with chainsaws for arms and laser eyes. The PCs defeat the children. 4 children at 1000 XP each = 4000 XP for the combat. So does each PC get 1000 XP or 4000 XP?

Ah great! I didn't notice those sections as I scanned through the book again. I figured I just missed it.

I'm planning on giving my PCs a starship early in their adventure, as a part of the Dead Suns adventure.

I'd also like to use it as adventure hooks: for example if they have a starship they'll have to make sure it's properly maintained (the drift engines will need to be overhauled periodically and they'll need to buy fuel and edibles). This should help add adventure hooks as they'll need to make sure they find parts/places to get the repairs done, and also money to pay for that. So it'll help give them stuff to spend the money on that's not super high end gear.

Does anyone have advice for how to handle maintenance of a starship without it getting too crunchy or tedious for me or the players? In Star Wars RPG there was a chart of how much it costs to rent a berth on various planets, and that helped (all maintenance was folded into that cost).
