Multiclassing Alchemists is a blast! Try throwing in some monk to pair with mutagen if you're looking to go unarmed feral. Grab style feats as well… Dragon especially. Amy Alchy here will give you some ideas.
Summoners can certainly become a melee presence on the battle field with their eidolon and summoned creatures. Especially summoned creatures… They are also 2/3 casters so essentially you are now controlling a 2/3 utility caster and a whole swath of fighters who you can buff the hell out of before battle. Cheers!
In an undead campaign, Disruption is the king of qualities. Save or die on a successful hit. Can make an undead BBEG encounter trivial. Axiomatic has the same bonuses as holy, but against chaotic characters. Potato, Potahto. Pair either of these with bane for a common creature in your campaign and you've got a biscuit. Mighty cleaving is also handy if you're a cleaving character, same with keen as it increases your reach so you can threaten more foes. Those are each +1 so they can be paired with Axiomatic, Disruption, or holy qualities. Or put them together with icy or flaming for incredible crowd control
Guides Guides Guides That's what you need! Try this one on for size. You got splendid stat rolls, you'll make good use of them I'm sure Hope this helps!
Alrighty… I've built two characters, one Synthesist and one Barbarian. My plan is for the Barbarian to mount the Synthesist, do stupid amounts of damage, and ride off into the sunset. I'm planning on taking leadership… Here's my conundrum, who should be my own character, and who should be my cohort? I'm completely on the fence on this one. Essentially, which build is more valuable to be higher leveled in a party. I really appreciate your input!
I've built power gaming characters many a time… And yet none have been as satisfying as my Halfling Fighter who's entire life was dedicated to proving himself to the more fighter oriented races. And then again, maybe I went a bit off the deep end. But I digress, Build a character that will be fun to play. And sometimes challenging is very fun. That secretary idea sounds hilarious. I've never actually considered "Humanizing" my Eidolon. Go for it!
Splendiferous writing and artwork in every book. I am always reassured that even though I'm paying a hefty sum, every item Paizo publishes has been meticulously crafted and designed for our group's enjoyment. They have created a community of players from all over who are more than willing to help each other and shell out advice for less experienced players, like myself. Pathfinder grants us the power to completely customize a character without any painful limitations, be it gender, a whole swath of races, passions, and traits, no two characters are ever the same. Thank You Paizo for making every Saturday awesome! |
