About Spixe the Stinger
Despite being born from a human family in Katapesh, her green skin and rough ears marked her as a throwback to interference with a Mwangi orc. Out of fear of being sold into slavery, her family rushed to book passage on a ship bound for Absalom, by making a back-alley deal with a member of the Sczarni.
While learning needlework from her parents, the young Ipiers also learned a somewhat skewed notion of what slavery actually entailed, especially with all the romantic nonsense told to her by Guaril Karela and the other Absalom Sczarnies while under their debt-laden thumbs. After happily helping lean on others, styling herself after a tough yet secretly compassionate slave driver, she hoped to help people find better paths in life rather than just giving them advice herself. After eavesdropping on Karela's proposition with a group of rookie Pathfinders, she hoped to join up with them to help teach lessons the world over with the wisdom of Calistria inspiring her.
You can pronounce her nickname like "Spikes" or "Spicy", depending on circumstances.
