Description:
Soundbyte's body is composed of a light golden plating, with blue crystalline solar-panels forming the fine detailing of his form. His form is humanoid shaped, though with a thick neck that merges with his head that suggests an alien model. In the center of his forehead, the symbol for Sarenrae is depicted circling a raised portion at the center of his head. Soft yellow light falls from his optics, and he possesses no visible mouth. His body itself is somewhat bulky and gives across an impression of strength. Overtop the heavy armor he wears, repainted to mimic his natural plating, are his priestly vestments which proudly display the colors of his goddess. -–―—―–- He does not remember why he was built. The earliest memory he has instead, is of the Sun. Of how the light showered him with it's full splendor even though his chassis was dull and grey, ugly in comparison, just as ugly as he felt on the inside. When that light caressed him, he felt a cleansing calm wash through him, bringing him peace and washing away his unknown sins. Within the dawn of a new day upon Akiton, he became Reborn as a fateful worshiper of this glorious sun's Majesty, her majesty, and felt a desire to spread this warmth throughout the universe. Within the Burning Archipelago he spent a quarter century dedicating himself to the teachings of his faith, becoming ordained with a new name in place of an unregistered designation by the head priest of his church at the time. He was to be named 'Soundbyte of Sunlight', for the unique way in which he communicated using snippets of audio he's cataloged over the years. As a Star Shaman, the time that he would need to set out on his own journey across the stars so that he may share her radiance came to pass. With fond memories within his databanks and heartfelt goodbyes replayed on loop, he bid his fellow clergymen farewell and left for Absalom Station. It was here that he peddled his services as a pilot to those who would take him, and to them he would replay snippets of his gospel to any who would listen. After a time, he decided to join the Starfinder Society in an effort to further expand the reach of his message.
