Old, but since this is the thread that comes up every Google search I do for size I wanted to leave this here. I'm not sure if the rule is elsewhere or was dropped after 3.0. Magic armor(I don't remember if weapons could as well) could resize 1 size catagory up or down. That is when the precentiles came in. So you have a "30% chance of being Small (01–30)" so that means it could resize down to tiny or up to medium. A large creature would be out of luck. Again I don't know if 3.5/Pathfinder changed this or if the rule is just found somewhere else, but that is the rule my group still follows.

Now back to trying to find if there is a magic enchantment that will size greater than that or if I'll have to house rule something.

New options came in recently this year:

Fitting
Resizing
Both are from Giant Hunter's Handbook.

Ah! Cool. Thanks. :)

Thanks. Guess I was just going crazy about having read it.

Yeah, my GM said since it wasn't stated then no. However as you said he did bring up that my character could join a Druidic Order. :)

So I'm mainly asking as applies to Hunter and the Druid Hand Language. I thought I read they got it, but now I can't find anything like that. Is there any rule on these things or is it puerly GM?

"Tree Lizard: Your hands and feet gain climbing claws and climbing pads. You gain a climb speed equal to half your normal speed and all the benefits of having a natural climb speed."

My problem is I can't find what "benefits" there are to a natural climb speed. Especially that would be different to claws and climbing pads.

First let me stress I'm NOT a lawyer so don't take this in lue of actual legal advice.

I'm late to this and I know you are talking about Pathfinder, but in case this comes up for someone else. For example the D&D OGL. You can use anything here:https://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35 INCLUDING names and descriptions as it is all considered under the OGL. Things like Elf are common parlance, but you will notice they don't use "Drow". So you couldn't use that name in any way. Dark Elf however is common parlance so you could. You would have to be careful in their description as well because describing them in a way that would identify them soley as "Drow" would be illegal as well.

Now as for Pathfinder part of the 3.5 OGL specifically states you have to clearly define what, if anything, you are adding as part of the OGL. I haven't looked, but if there is anything added that is part of the OGL it should be clearly listed on the official Pathfinder rules site. While other parts are pertinent here are the two that most apply.

Quote:
... (d)"Open Game Content" means the game mechanic and includes the methods, procedures, processes and routines to the extent such content does not embody the Product Identity and is an enhancement over the prior art and any additional content clearly identified as Open Game Content by the Contributor, and means any work covered by this License, including translations and derivative works under copyright law, but specifically excludes Product Identity. ....
Quote:
8. Identification: If you distribute Open Game Content You must clearly indicate which portions of the work that you are distributing are Open Game Content.

So anything they add as OGL and NOT specifically solely for their product is governed by this OGL and they must clearly indicate which portions they are adding to the OGL.

Now I'm not going to look for it because I don't want to claim something is part of the OGL and have it not be, but it should be there somewhere and if it isn't SPECIFICALLY outlined in their OGL then by inference it is excluded. If in doubt then it isn't covered by the OGL.

In lue of all of that write Paizo and ask them(though they may just redirect you to the site). :D

Thanks. I didn't know you could mix archetypes. Sadly Dervish is out.

We randomly chose race/class and I ended up with a Kitsune Magus. As having played neither I was hoping for a little advice. I can't dual class, but I maybe able to go into a PrC later if needed. I decided to go Kensai and I'm playing up the whole Japanese folklore stereotype angle for personality. I'm trying for sort of cross between a wandering samurai and trickster kami type thing. I'm going 9 tails for the fun of it. However I'm not going for something Nauruto like. Like I said I would like a more folklore(where I first hear of a 9 tails fox) vibe than anime vibe.

Character: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/paths-of-faerun/characters/keiichi- nine-tails-jke

He is level 5 though I've listed everything he will get. I don't think he will end up overly effective, but should be fun to play. I am concerned about survivability though. Really any suggestions would be great. I have all his tails listed first, but that order could change however needed.

Edit: I forgot I'm also trying to think of a good 3rd profession for him if there are any suggestions on that.

1) Thanks. I read over that 1 minute per paladin level half a dozen times or more. Totally blind on that one.

2) Thanks on that too. All I saw was "A weapon's enhancement bonus and special ability bonus equivalents can't total more than +10."

I have a couple questions about Divine Bound.

1) This doesn't seem to have a duration like the D&D version that I can see. Is that correct?

2) A magical weapon can only be made with a maximum of +10 worth of enhancements. Could this be used to exceed that amount? For instance could an 8th level Paladin have a +5 keen(+1) holy(+2) flaming burst(+2) sword then add disruption(+2) from the bond on top of that? Would it instead supersede one of the abilities or just couldn't be done at all?
