Trigger:An enemy damages your ally, and both are within 15 feet of you.
Your foe hesitates under the weight of sin as visions of redemption play in their mind’s eye. The foe must choose one of the following options:
• The ally is unharmed by the triggering damage.
• The ally gains resistance to all damage against the triggering damage equal to 2 + your level. After the damaging effect is applied, the enemy becomes enfeebled 2 until the end of its next turn.

Background:

Sonna Caran grew up in Senghor, living in poverty with his parents. As an adolescent he began doing whatever petty crimes he could to provide a little extra food on the table. His activities began with swiping things off of food carts, but as he got older they became more severe, escalating to muggings and protection rackets in his early twenties. Eventually he was captured by the city guards and imprisoned for his crimes.

During his time in custody, Sonna began to regret the choices the brought him to this point. He slowly turned to Sarenrae for guidance to atone for his behaviour. Once he was released from prison he began training with an order of champions, and joined the Pathfinder Society as a means of offering the gift of redemption to others.
