Background
Sohali Haddad is a serious young man originally born in the distant land of Katapesh. He grew up as an orphan in the service of a church of Pharasma and as he grew older displayed an aptitude for warfare and martial skills that lead him onto the path of the paladin. Instilled with a respect for his church and the values of the paladin code by his mentor, an elder paladin who had retired from his wanderings of the world, Sohali quickly took to his new life.

At the end of his training he was foisted onto a group of foreign explorers by his mentor and began a life of tomb delving and raiding as body guard and advisor to Professor Mortise, a member of the Pathfinder Society active in Katapesh. After working with the professor for three years Sohali grew curious about the organization that funded their expeditions and asked if he might join their number. The Professor, having grown fond of the young Keleshite, agreed and sponsored his trip to Absalom where a contact is to meet the young man and introduce him to the lodge.

Personality and Description
Sohali neither looks or acts like what one would typically expect of a paladin in part thanks to his foreign sensibilities and his devotion to Pharasma. More practical than the average paladin Sohali is willing to take a longer route to his goals and sees being rude, aggressive in forcing his faith on others or even trying to force those that work with him to follow his code as not only being impractical but the height of uncivility.

Short and thin, Sohali’s dark skin, neatly trimmed beard and piercing amber eyes all mark him out as a Keleshite to those who’ve met his people before. His clothing currently consists of light robes coloured a deep purple and some worn hide armour that he wears during his day to day activities around Absalom typically only leaving the armour off when at rest. He wears a scimitar at his hip and carries a longbow and quiver across his back.
