baggageboy wrote: They are not as they are class features not explicitly allowed in starship combat. Does that make sense? Depends on who you ask. As always for a home game see what your GM thinks, and for SFS don't plan on using this as it is something not strictly supported by the rules, so expect a lot of table variation and possible arguments. I see the "Class features and items affect crew actions only if specifically noted in the class feature or action." I'm having trouble wrapping my head around it. LOL. I can see points for both sides of the discussion. Until we get new rule clerificaion or expanded rules on this topic.... No droids in Space combat for our group. I guess part of the problem is that in my head drones and space ships go hand in hand...
Looking over a few things I noticed that I need some clarification with regards to drones in space combat. As I see it.... Drones in space combat are legal??? Drone…
Mechanic Limited AI….
Crew Actions….
As long as the drone has “Manipulator Arms” Page 77 SFCRB I see no reason why they can’t fill in as a Gunner as long as a PC isn’t getting bumped from the spot.

I am a little lost here, I am not sure If I am reading something wrong or I am just missing the point.. So hopefully with no spoilers... Sheet #1 Plunder & Peril (Rum Punch)... I got it no issues there. Sheet #2 Plunder & Peril (Dangerous Waters)... I got it no issues there. Sheet #3 Plunder & Peril (Black Coral Cove)... I got it no issues there. Sheet #4 (Bonus Chronicle Sheet)I understand how and when they get the sheet but the.... PCs either get all the stuff or the PC can choose to get some of the stuff???? Why would anyone choose to get only some of the stuff, and by stuff I mean boons, XP, PP, Fame, $$$$. Its a bit confusing. Am I missing the point or misreading the sheet???

I need a little help. Iam planning on organizing a picnic for my Lodge. Yep, just a run of the mill old fashioned real life picnic... We are going to encourage our players to bring families and of course a dish to share with all. Just an excuse to gather and have a little fun. But I want to have a few Pathfinder inspired picnic games that the attrndies can participate in. Iam planning on breaking them uo into teams. But the only good ideas we have so far is a Pathfinder world scramble.... Anyone have any suggestions, or have you done this before?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I played this scenario and was fortunate enough to get to play the Experiment... The Pre-Gen is extremely well put together and I had a blast playing it. So much so that I made my own version so I could continue playing it. Oh and the scenario was very entertaining. I would easily put it in my top 5 scenarios that I have played.
Finale update..... Wow that went fast.. We did it, Saturday was the first of a hopefully yearly PFS event held at the Dragon's Refuge. With 40+ individual players, 8 GMs, and 20 tables of scenarios over the course of the day, we successfully established goals to exceed for next year. I would like to thank the Dragon's Refuge store, GMs, and players for making it not only possible but more importantly FUN!!!!!!
Just an update.... Out of the 6 tables scheduled to run 3 scenarios each we have 14 of the 18 slots booked full with the remaining 4 partially filled. As we are currently set up we have 5 tables running regular play with one table of Core. Each table will be running the 3 listed scenarios as planned. I am looking to possibly have a 7th table on standby for walk-ins. I've been told by the store management to expect a least a few. I appreciate all the assistance and advice you all have provided and look forward to seeing some of you there on the day of the event.
John, we have regular twice a month games if you are interested, we always list our events on the Paizo "event" section under Dragons Refuge Lodge, January is already posted. Fromper, as above the event is listed on paizo "event" section with further details, and being our first game day we didn't use a registration site... didn't think we would need one, LOL. but we are looking into it as we have had Pathfinders from southern Illinois express interest in attending also. If you have any other questions please let me know.

Just an update, our group discussed the topic above and decided on re-naming our group... The Dragon's Refuge Lodge In not only recognition of the store that has been extremely encouraging to our humble group but also because for most of our group it’s a second home. We move forward with a new name but with the same commitment and dedication we have always had. Ironically on the same night we adopted the new name we had our largest scenario night, 3 tables of PFS play at one time!! A Good omen for sure.
So far it has been a team effort that has made our group successful. With that in mind I think it's only fair and right that this be our groups decision. So I plan on addressing this topic next month (December) with them and will take a vote of our members to see if we stay the Pathfinder Players of Kankakee County or if we forge ahead as the Kakakee Lodge. As far as VC/VL. The nearest is over an hour away from our home even with that fact several have been very supportive and encouraging from a distance. While I can say I have thought about applying for a spot I have only been doing this a few months. I think I'll wait till I hit the year mark before I apply. But as always thank you guys for the advice and direction.
At what point can we call our group a lodge? or is there any defining qualifications? I am currently leading a small but dedicated group of players that currently seat two full tables 2-3 times a month. We have 3 regular GMs and 10 dedicated players with a hand full of players that have never missed a run. We started calling ourselves the Pathfinder Players of Kankakee County just to get noticed and draw players. Now though I wonder if we can, need, or does it matter if we ever call ourselves a lodge. Part of me thinks it would be cool to be known as the Kankakee Lodge but I am not sure. Any advice??? Or rules to this question??? I can t seem to find any.
Just an update for those who are interested. Our little group has had our first multi-table event as of last Friday. We have a small but dedicated group of players, along with that each week we get new faces, both of which is what has made our scenarios successful. Thank you to all of you who have been giving advice and tips to make our group thrive.
Just an update for those who were wondering..... We launched our groups events in September. We organized and publicized the snot out of it locally and we have found that Friday nights (roughly every 3rd one)work best for our group of players. So far our progress and attendance is modest but dedicated with the potential to expand. although we have not yet had a multiple table event each one has been a full table. We are extremely happy with the results so far. With the favorable attendance and dedicated players we have started discussions to do a, in February, "3 Scenario Day" event. When I have the details I post them here. As we move forward any advice or suggestions to keep our group involved and motivated would be greatly appreciated.
Another silly question,,,,, I ran my first adventure the other night at our local game shop, had good turn out (6 players), the scenario went very well. But I had a player who was extremely good. He was knowledgeable, fun spirited, helpful to other players in & out of game. He made a good scenario better for all who played. The group completed all objectives and looted all they could, so full reward was handed out. I guess my question is, is there a way I can reward players for excellent play above what the chronicle sheet covers? I feel that the excellent player should of gotten a little more.... Something for his efforts??
- Central Contact Pathfinder Players of Kankakee County, Facebook group page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/PPoKC/ - Events posted on paizo event section and our FB page, And local store hosting the events has also listed it on their FB page. https://www.facebook.com/TheDragonsRefuge - a pool of 4 in house GM/Players, able to GM or Play as needed at events - and always looking for more GMs if others would like to volunteer. - And as good as we feel we have things, we know there are aspects or areas that could using shoring up. So please if you have any advice at all even if you think its something everyone knows, please assume we know nothing and clue us in..... Not to mention you guys have done this before and could offer suggestions to help us avoid common pit falls or short comings. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Ahhhh cool, I have sent a message to nearby VC just waiting for a response. Currently we have 5 tables scheduled over the entire month at this time with a 6th soon to be.I was unsure if this was something that could happen, but if you don't ask you don't get. Thanks for the help. Any other advice for a new Lodge?
Hello all, Some friends and I are trying to form a new Lodge in Kankakee county IL, and we are looking for any advice to make it successful. We have done a fairly good job publizing it locally and organizing ourselves and potential players. I was wondering if there was a way we could get some boons to help launch our first events in September and who I could write to to ask for those things. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
On Friday I played Session 526 #7–01: Between the Lines (RPG) and the credit appeared on 18882-8 instead of 18882-7. I attempted to
