Liberty's Edge

We played Master of the Fallen Fortress tonight to introduce the group to pathfinder. It was a home campaign and had a blast with it. We had a half-orc barbarian, elven rogue, elven wizard, and me the half-elf druid. Not going to add spoilers but after the final battle i was down -5 hitpoints, the wizard was down -5 hitpoints as well. The rogue had 4 hitpoints and the barbarian had 1 hitpoint. But we did it. Have to say it's not easy its really about grinding out the victory over the long run of the adventure. All and all though it really helps a group find themselves as a group. It's a total dungeon crawl but when your first starting that sort of thing really trains the group to work together and find themselves as a group. So i would say kudos to the author as it was a great adventure and we had a great time of it.

My group hasn't played anything yet but some of us have already submitted our character to pathfinder society. Can we play this module and just pretty much ignore if we have chosen a faction. We have a chosen faction already picked out on our character but could we just not use any faction traits and run the scenario then choose the one we want?

At the end of the adventure you can purchase a plus 1 resistance cloak for 1000 gold but since it's got to be your first adventure you can't possibly afford to buy one after the adventure. So can you buy that at anytime in the future when you have the money or is it just an error? Just wondering because you can buy everything else or at least one of the other items.

k we're playing a home game with two groups. Pretty much i told the players that they should make whatever they want. Well we have no healers for either group. Is it okay pretty much to add the iconic healer to each table so they have a healer.? I want everyone to play what they want and nobody wanted to play a cleric. Some members like clerics but seems everyone is wanting to try something different for a change. It's not a big deal just wanted to make sure you could on a regular basis til we find a healer have npc healers in the game. Got more family members thinking of playing so hopefully we get a cleric or two out of that but i don't want to force the players to be a cleric if they dont'want to be.

I'm interested in this and I think my group will be interested in it.I'll talk with them about starting up a campaign. We will be just playing it with our usual people. Perhaps some members might go to a con to play some don't know. But is it perfectly okay to just play with our group with all the paperwork done and everything? Also we have a group of 7 people that might be a bit big is that okay for the quests or is there changes that need to be made?
