"Who goes there! And where?" Sir Rhaym barked out, still trying to see where the words were coming from.

Sir Rhaym lumbered forward to attack the next bad guy.

One attack missed completely, while two others are deflected by his shield.

Lay on Hands for: 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4) = 11 damage healed.

+1 bastard sword: 1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (14) + 14 - 2 = 26 for a possible 1d10 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 4 = 17 slashing damage.

+1 bastard sword: 1d20 + 9 - 2 ⇒ (1) + 9 - 2 = 8 for a possible 1d10 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 7 + 4 = 13 slashing damage.

Rapid, punishing atacks barely withstood by the heroic paladin, after which he returns with interest!

Sir Rhaym tasted blood from a split lip and bloody forehead.
"Oh, yes, I am injured and would be grateful for some healing." He said politely.

Sir Rhaym frowned thoughtfully.
"Hm, strange; I sense no Evil beyond this door."

Sir Rhaym concentrates and casts Detect Evil on the canines.

"Perhaps... West?" Said Sir Rhaym gesturing that way.

After taking a tooth rattling hit earlier, Sir Rhaym buckled down to work.

Sir Rhaym looked towards the pool and used his Detect Evil at a glance.

Yes, I was indicating travel back to the dungeon.

As they mount up, Sir Rhaym turned about.
"Oh, Planchet! Be sure to order that perfume sampler for Felix; I know he was curious earlier!"

Sir Rhaym will volunteer with burial detail.
"Planchet! We will need a dustpan and broom!"

Does this mean the GM wants Planchet to stick around? The Dark Tower seems kind of hazardous environment for a servant...

Sir Rhaym quickly wrenches open the cell door when it is unlocked, and puts Planchet into a bone crushing hug.
"Planchet my friend! I thought you dead!" He exclaimed, then released him.
"A sacrifice to Set? I think not!" He said with righteousness.

For those who need it, Sir Rhaym will Channel Positive energy to heal all in 30 feet 4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 6) = 20.

Sir Rhaym blocked a hard attack but is hit by another slash from the big uard. He lashed out again in a flurry of powerful attacks.

Sir Rhaym double haste moved up the corridor towards the last guard and cells; a heavily armed and armored figure running right at him.

Round 2

Sir Rhaym strode around the corner and up to the first guard coming towards him.

Sir Rhaym double moves forward. He lays on hands to heal himself 3d6 ⇒ (3, 2, 2) = 7.

Initiative: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18

Sir Rhaym looked up.
"Is that... Planchet?" He questioned aloud. "Planchet!"
He surged forward.
"PLANCHET!!"

Sir Rhaym followed his new companions down the secret hallway.

"Rhyam, you're not looking. See this door?

Rhaym does a double take.

Make a Fort Save or be Nauseated for 1 round. DC 14

Fort save: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (18) + 10 = 28 He's fine.

Sir Rhaym tapped his way across the back wall.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (9) - 1 = 8

"Mayhap there is a secret door in here somewhere." Said Sir Rhaym aloud.
He moved up to the north wall and moved east, thumping and pressing on the walls, columns and their decorations.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

"Found what?" Rhaym yelled back. "There's nothing but this useless modern art dedicated to Set! My servant could crap out art better than this!" He said critically.
"Planchet! Yell out if you can hear me!"

"Yow!" Sir Rhaym exclaimed at the sudden blaze of fire.
"Mitra defend! What is all this?" He said, looking around.
Looking at the iconography, he tried to understand the patterns.

Spotting something on the floor, Sir Rhaym slowly bent down and picked it up. A bloody glove, and he was sure it's Planchet's
"Planchet?" He whispered the name of his servant and friend.
He turned about looking frantically. He might still be alive!
He ran into the large chamber to the east.
"Plaaaaancheeeeeet!" He yelled out, hoping to be heard.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (15) - 1 = 14

Sir Rhaym entered through the south door cautiously behind Ciri. Seeing the large chamber, he turned east and explored.
Perception: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (12) - 1 = 11

Seeing everyone drift south, Rhaym follows.
"Or South. Let us see what is behind these doors." He said, reaching out to the south doors to open them.

"Hm. Thes East doors look interesting." Sir Rhaym commented.

Sir Rhaym just watched as the dog missed him so widely he almost hit the wall.

Round 4
He then lashed out North, then East and East.

Sir Rhaym easily dodged the dog's bite.

Round 3
Sir Rhaym looked astounded at what was revealed now that full light and sound was restored.
"Shapeshifters! I'll smite thee all!" He proclaimed, then lashed out right left and center.

Sir Rhaym pulled his sword back and looked confused.

Wary of illusions, Rhaym thrust his bastard sword at the mage to his NE.
