guys, as an aside, my wedding is only a week away now, and while i'll still be reading from my phone, my posting will be prolly almost nonexistent for about two weeks. dm kc, feel free to do whatever you like with my character while i'm mostly incommunicado.

i'll attempt to snipe from cover

just gonna post my actions now, since nothing should change as long as there are any kobolds standing

Now in range of the foul kobold slavers, Simo fires unseen, and attempts to hide again.

roll to hit from stealth (no dex bonus for them i hope) 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16
roll crossbow damage1d6 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

i'm going to sneak forward using Aatu and everyone else as cover until i can see a kobold. i think it'll take me a double move, so i won't be able to fire 'til next round.

stealth roll 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (18) + 19 = 37

i'm going to wait and see what knot and codwin do. if they don't act this round i'll move down the corridor using stealth until i can see a kobold. move is only 20, but full speed even when using stealth.

init check 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Simo continues to use Aatu as cover for stealth, and delays acting until he can snipe a kobold.

" Thank you, your excellency. I am sure Aatu thanks you as well, though I do not presume to speak for him. My aim is actually quite good, and while I am probably a bit insane, neither was the issue in this case. It was the influence of these currently deceased mind enslaving moths. I shall stay to the back as we advance, since my crossbow is my primary method of offense."

Simo turns to Codwin.

"Your excellency, do you have a tincture that will work on dogs? I seem to have shot my friend Aatu here in the back."

"Oh no, my new found friend who seems totally trustworthy, the party is just getting started. And it's a dance party. Where we dance on kobold corpses. And maybe have snacks after."

Simo will position himself so that Aatu is between him and the door, and use him as cover to hide and prepare to fire

i guess we'll just wait a few rounds until raviel is healed, and then we should go on, unless anybody needs to anything else first?

"Well, I apparently don't hear anything beyond this door. Who wants to to open it?"

"Very well. I shall listen at the door to see if the kobolds are trying to sneak up on us while we wait. Momma always said I was a horrible judge of character, but I have a good feeling about this group."

With a slightly manic grin at everyone, Simo moves silently towards the door out of the room.

does raviel have fast healing or anything? or do you just want to camp out for a day?

i'll try to stay stealthed no matter what, and if there's nothing else to hide behind i'll hide behind my dog, Aatu. I'll generally try to stay 60' from the nearest enemy that's not in melee with a party member to try and maximize the penalty of -1 per 10' to their perception roll. Aatu doesn't bother trying to hide and anyone looking behind could catch a glimpse of him climbing down the ladder. i'm also convinced that all kobolds are slavers and am ready to treat them appropriately. i think both moths are in melee, so i'll fire at the one that's still up.

alright, still writing up my background and equipment but mostly done. just wanted to make sure the gm approves so far.
