We are a pathfinder 1e group looking for another reliable player(or 2) for our current Friday night group. We do like our combat more than our role play but that doesn't mean we don't try. Especially with vampwickman(if you've seen him on other streams) in our group. We currently rotate 3 DMs every 2-3 months so nobody gets tired of DMing. Ideally, we're looking for another person who not only can play but is also willing to DM as part the rotation, but not mandatory. New or experienced are welcome to come play. We like to have fun so it can go a little off the rails sometimes. We play every Friday night from 7pm until about 11 or 12. Whenever we have a good stopping point. We currently are a group of 4 people but we'd like another person so we can still play on those days 1 or 2 people have to cancel last minute. We're all late 30s to mid 40s. Hope to hear from someone soon!

ok, what about this...I have a buckler, I use a heavy crossbow. I also have quick draw. At the end of my turn, couldn't I just let go of the crossbow with my off hand, use the buckler, and next round using quick draw "draw" my crossbow again? Rinse and repeat.

What is your thought on exactly how the Reanimator potion works? To me it sounds like, being a 2nd level spell normally, that it effectively becomes a 1st level spell with them being 1 level lower. Which would mean casting it as a 1st level caster. However, you get it as a bonus spell at 3rd level which then makes me think you don't really get it early but once you get it it counts like a 1st level spell slot instead of a 2nd level.spell slot? Being that I'm playing one right now, your insight and thoughts on it could be invaluable. Or anyone else's thoughts really to help straighten it out. TIA.

I am considering a Permanencied Reduce Person on my ranger/unchained rogue(Dex build for using disarm in a pirate campaign) and it all looks good to me but the one question I have about it is about base speed. Nowhere in the Reduce person does it talk about base speed being reduced. So, to me, that would mean that if there is nothing that says the speed is reduced, my speed should remain the same going form Medium to Small. I've looked online, through everything I can on the d20pfsrd and I cannot find anywhere that speed is dependant on size and only that speed depends on what it says in the entry for the race. Am I missing something? I'd love to maintain my base speed of 40 feet(with boots of springing and striding) as a Small character while getting all of the bonuses of Reduce Person but I want to ensure I'm not missing something.
