BACKGROUND
--------------------

Background:
Sienna is the younger Sibling of Sandru and Jubaryl Vhiski. She was never as charismatic or as nimble as her brother, but she would always watch from afar at his activities when they were young. Though he would always happily come talk to her when he could. Sandru was happy to have her around as a companion. Sienna would enjoy the wilderness around Sandpoint whenever she was alone. Her life was relatively simple up to that point, until the storm killed her parents.

Shortly after Koya took Sandru and Sienna into her care. Sienna appreciates the mothering that Koya had given to her and Sandru over the years. However she never truly felt that she could replace her own mother. Sienna treats Koya more like an aunt than a parent, caring for her but feeling more like its mutual friendship.

Sometimes though Sienna did get the feeling that she was the daughter that Koya never had. So from mother to daughter, Koya taught Sienna about Desna just like Niska had done before for Koya. Thus Sienna learnt some of the basic Mantra's and passages for Desna's worship. As a result Sienna has picked up and follows Desna's teachings as best she can, though she isn't nearly as devout as her adoptive mother.

Sienna was devastated never knowing how to take her loss, she grew scared of the weather. Scared of what the land might bring, scared that it might take her or her brothers and ended up locking herself away for days. Sandru couldn't stand this and would try to get his sister to come outside, Sienna would lash out in fits of rage and terror. Sometimes even trying to lash out at her brother yelling that he should stay indoors with her too. Sandru then one day took it upon himself to become a caravan guard and to change Sienna's ways he asked if she could join the caravan. He thought that it would mean she got to explore but also stay in the safety of a caravan. Sienna reluctantly accepted. As days passed though she grew accustomed to the caravan life and was thankful to her brother. So much so that she would often take small patrols with him as long as he stayed close. Sienna once again grew fond of him as a sibling like she did when she was younger.

However during one particular patrol Sandru was reported missing, or at least gone longer than he should have. Sienna not thinking of any consequences ran off to find her brother. On the way though she managed to get herself lost in the nearby wilderness. Minutes passed, it turned to hours she was lost. It began to rain, she immediately fled back into her mind and entered her terrified state that she normally did. Slowly the rain turned into lightning and thunder. Sienna sat in the forest rocking back and forth. Eventually she couldn't take it she took a dagger from her pocket, aimed it at her throat and thrust it in. Before it reached her jugular though she felt a force stay her hand. A fellow, even unknown to her now stood looming over her. The man asked Sienna if she was afraid of the weather and if she would learn to control it. She replied in favour of learning, though she thought it was just to control her fear and not the weather itself. The man told her to meet him here again the following night but he would not guide her back to the caravan. Determined she used all of her cunning and willpower to return to the caravan. Surprising herself she returned easily, to the arms of her loving brother Sandru who had returned before then, worried that he had lost her. Though for some odd reason she didn't feel as readily happy to see him, her mind was fixated on getting over this fear.

Each night she returned to the forest to learn from the stranger, which in retrospect to her was probably very reckless. The man slowly taught her small vestiges of magic that she didn't know she had. As time passed the caravan moved on, but for some reason the man followed, always being in the wilderness, reclusive, nearby. This allowed Sienna to continue her training with this man, unbeknownst to her this reclusive hermit was a Druid and was teaching her the ways of the land. She grew ever more confident in her abilities and at the same time distant to her brother. During this time she even met a fey-touched, one particular bulette that her master knew. She knew of the existence of other fey creatures already from the teachings of Desna, the Lyrakiens. Sienna grew curious if she would ever meet them. Then one day, two things happened that would change her life. One was that her trainer revealed himself to be a druid after he felt that she was good enough to join the circle, he invited her to the Isle of Arenway. On the same day her brother left the caravan, despite having fluctuated in her life from being close or indifferent to him, she still loved him. This turn of events worried her and she fought with her brother, begging him to stay, she even asked if she could go with him but he refused. That hurt her more than she would've liked, as she felt abandoned. She stayed with that caravan while her brother changed careers. Sienna found out he took up adventuring and she grew ever worried, tormented that again she might lose a family member.

Sienna's trip to Isle of Arenway caused her to leave the caravan permanently as well. She didn't want to impose on them waiting nor did she wish to return to a place she thought her brother might be waiting. While at the Isle of Arenway she officially got inducted into a circle of druids and from there she stayed in the wilderness for a few years growing more aloof and indifferent to society. Years later she returned to Sandpoint to find that Sandru was starting up a caravan again. Despite feeling some underlying resentment towards her brother she decided to ask to join, and he declined. Now even more so she felt in his shadow and abandoned. Sienna just accepted it and moved on with her life, deciding to offer her assistance to Jubrayl with her druidic abilities. Until the start of the campaign, that is how it stayed.

Sienna joined Jubrayl in whatever jobs he was doing mostly out of anger that Sandru didn't take her up in her caravan adventures. She doesn't know about his direct relations with the Sczarni, though has heard rumours about them. She does realise that she might be doing jobs for the Sczarni without knowing it by helping out her brother. Sienna feels that she should help her family somehow, so she isn't a 'known' member as such but possibly associated.

Most of the things she did seemed harmless enough. Jubrayl would use her summons and knowledge of the land to transport important 'packages' from place to place without anyone taking note that they were being transported. Sienna never cared for what was in them nor did she ever ask, so she could be associated to the simple crimes of the Sczarni.

PERSONALITY
--------------------

Personality:
Sienna is quite aloof and somewhat brash. She is very quick to jump to conclusions without asking about a problem. More oft than not she finds it hard to make friends but due to her life in a caravan she is able to work with anyone. She just might not say much if conversation isn't prompted. She does however yearn for adventure and would take it at the drop of the hat, she isn't sure why though. It could be to show up Sandru, it could be built up anger over the years or it could be that she just wants to get away from everything. Despite her aggressive nature she holds true to her protective duties as a druid. Sometimes feeling compelled to protect others without ever questioning it. Maybe it was her brother rubbing off on her from the days he protected the caravan. Despite the many issues she has with her brother Sandru, deep down she still loves him, and she hates herself for it at times.

Sienna isn't truly over her fear of the weather, she can control the weather a bit now yes, which has alleviated this fear somewhat. However if she feels that the weather is not in a place that she could control it if she wanted to, she would likely get scared again. Not to the extend of rolling up in a ball but enough that it might cause her to panic, not think of her situation and run for cover. She is especially afraid of stormy weather.
