About Shurgha Tak

Appearance and Noteworthy Interests
Scout is shorter than most humans, her eyes are dark brown, and her skin color is the color of Fine Paraheen Tea- where not covered by tattoos. She braids her long, curly, dark hair in the tradition of her mother's clan from Tafiq, (Tribe Uomoto). She is nimble, and often performs tumbling routines for coppers. She is a shrewd judge of character; she counts as friends those whom society has forgotten but who nevertheless have kind hearts or good intentions -- goblins, tieflings, kobolds, and half orcs. (This may be her mother's influence.) Red is her favorite color.

Biography
Born in the Puddles of Absalom to Honor Tak and Derik Axeblade, who run a local inn near the docks. They are respected members of the community, known for taking in orphans and strays, and giving food to beggars.

Growing up, Scout learned many tricks to avoid the gangs and bullies who cruise the flooded streets and alleys of the Puddles. These skills also helped in avoiding the skirmishes common to large families. To her parents' dismay, she sometimes put her sneaky ways to less than honorable uses. Scout joined the Pathfinder Society when she was caught pick-pocketing an agent with high perception; she was offered a choice between that and an extended stay in one of the cells below Starwatch. Not a fan of enclosed spaces, she chose the Pathfinder option. This proved to be the best decision of her young life, and enabled her to help her family rise (a little) from the impoverishment often visited to the disabled.
