But you can get closer to breaking it!

  • Make that chain shirt brawling for a flat +2 to hit and damage rolls for unarmed strikes!
  • Amulet of Mighty Fists, of course.
  • Dragon Style and Dragon Ferocity: Now get 2x Strength mod on your first unarmed strike damage roll then 1.5 Strength mod on all others.
  • Be that guy and take the 2 level dip into Master of Many Styles. Get Pummeling Style and Pummeling Charge. Combined with Dragon Style, this is the quite powerful. This would require going Bloodrager instead of Barbarian and being lawful, though, but it's something.

All wonderful ideas, thank you. I wasn't paying over much attention to equipment as it was just going to be a one-off, 'oh look what I can do' sort of thing, but now it's turning into it's own full-fledged thing. :P

The campaign started at level 5 and is played on a multiple-time-a-week basis, so it's not out of the realm of probability for it to go on that long. Either way, it's not a build I actually plan on using, I'm more than happy with my Hell Knight Commander. But, as some have said, no, this build isn't particularly broken as I'd initially thought.

I'm thinking that maybe at later levels, when the Brawler's unarmed damage is doing 2dX damage, things might be a little different, but then again I'm still not going to be getting the 1.5x on Power Attack. The feedback is appreciated. :)

Brawler 6, Barbarian 1, Orc
Stats (After Equipment): 24, 10, 15, 8, 8, 8
Feats: Weapon Focus (Unarmed Strike)
Power Attack
Improved Sunder
Weapon Specialization (Unarmed Strike)
Improved Initiative
Greater Sunder
BaB: +7/+2
Common Melee Attack Roll: d20+15 (+2 while raging, +2 while under mutagen, -2 for Power Attack, -2 when making a Brawler's Flurry.)
Common Melee Damage: 1d8+9 (+2 while raging, +4 while under mutagen, +4 for Power Attack.)
CMB: +14 (+18 for Sunder)
CMD: 24 (26 vs. Sunder)
AC: 18
Equipment: Belt of Great Strength +2, Cloak of Resistance +1, Chain Shirt +4, 1,500gp left over
Class abilities I'm focusing on: Barbarian's Rage, +4 to Strength and Constitution, -2 to AC.
Mutagenic Mauler's Mutagen: Functions as an Alchemist's mutagen(+4 to selected physical ability, -2 to corresponding mental ability, +2 to AC) in addition to adding +2 to damage rolls at level 6.
Brawler's Flurry: Full-Round action, gains the use of Two-Weapon Fighting and applies full Strength modifier to all attacks. Can substitute attacks for sunder/disarm/trip attempts.

So, I loosely statted out a level 7 Orc Barbarian/Brawler using the Mutagenic Mauler Brawler archetype and 20 point-buy. Six levels in the Brawler archetype, 1 in Barbarian for the rage.

Right now, I'm capping out at about... 32 Strength while raging and under the mutagenic effects (I also have a +2 Belt of Great Strength.) and am hitting for 1d8+13, or 1d8+17 with Power Attack. Rolled HP came out to 72, which bumps up to 86 while raging, and I have a movespeed of 50ft when under mutagenic effects. I haven't bothered doing anything related to AC or the likes as I don't ever plan on actually using this build. It's been more of a S&G adventure, rather than a serious attempt.

Thoughts on how to make it even more absurd, or thoughts on what I've got so far?

Clashing Rocks

I can only imagine an army of druids summoning hundreds of Colossal-sized boulders, crushing hundreds of people and burying them all under a new mountain made out of enormous rocks.
