About Shalissa

The groomy elven female covers her face with a strange wooden mask. Despite this cover you can see her lively green eyes through holes in the mask. Her elven arms unveil a grey skin with a shade of purple. She wears golden jewelery and sea trinkets over a set of bright clothes whose colors reminds you to the sea. Spilling over the ocean of blue, her long brunette hair strikes you as waves playing on the sea surface.

You recognize the wooden mask as the type the Mordant Spire elves, also known as grey elves, usually dress. Peculiar and reclusive these elves dwell almost entirely on the island of Mordant Spire in the Steaming Sea, where they guard ancient Azlanti artifacts and patrol the many remaining islands of that lost continent.

Mordant Spire elves are pale-skinned, aloof, and stand-offish. They usually wear masks, and speak only Azlanti to outsiders, as they are one of very few peoples in the Inner Sea region who still speak that language natively.

Most Mordant Spire elves live in floating wicker buildings around the island proper. They typically spend their time fishing and diving in the Steaming Sea, which provides many resources leaving them little interest to trade with outsiders.

They consider themselves inheritors of that lost civilisation of Azlant despite formerly being their enemies. They lay claim to all of Azlant surviving relics, and chase treasure hunters protecting any such object.

Despite their antagonism towards artifact plunders, their patrols have brought stability around the sunken continent. The elves' xenophobic attitude is not universal and some of the younger elves believe that much can be gained by accepting other races' access to the ruins of Azlant.

Mwangi Scholar (campaign): The Mwangi Expanse is one of the richest regions in all of Golarion, and also one of the most mysterious. Hero Points: 3 (technically we have them, but Kulko prefers to avoid using them, so save them for the extreme cases).
Low-Light Vision: Elves can see twice as far as humans in conditions of dim light.
Blended View: Some elves are blessed with a legacy of versatile senses. Characters with this trait keep their low-light vision but also gain darkvision to a distance of 60 feet. Elves or gnomes can take this trait in place of keen senses.
Elven Immunities: Elves are immune to magic sleep effects and get a +2 racial bonus on saving throws against enchantment spells and effects.
Fey Thoughts: The character sees the world more like a native of the First World. Select two of the following skills: Acrobatics, Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Disguise, Escape Artist, Fly, Knowledge (nature), >Perception<, Perform, Sense Motive, Sleight of Hand, Stealth, >Swim<, or Use Magic Device. The selected skills are always class skills for the character. An elf, gnome, or half-orc can take this trait in place of racial weapon familiarity.
Tongue of the Sea: Mordant Spire elves speak the ancient languages of their ancestors, enemies, and other creatures native to the Steaming Sea. Elves with this racial trait begin play speaking Azlanti and Elven. Elves with high Intelligence scores can choose from the following languages: Aboleth, Abyssal, Aklo, Aquan, Common, and Undercommon. This racial trait replaces an elf ’s normal languages.
Elven Magic: Elves receive a +2 racial bonus on caster level checks made to overcome spell resistance. In addition, elves receive a +2 racial bonus on Spellcraft checks made to identify the properties of magic items.
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Cloistered clerics are proficient with light armor and with the following weapons: club, heavy mace, light mace, quarterstaff, and sling. They are not proficient with shields. A cleric is proficient with the favored weapon of her Deity (trident).
Aura (Su): Shalissa has no clerical aura as her god is True Neutral.
Channel energy (Su): 4/day (3d6; DC 13)
Spontaneous casting: Can channel the energy of a prepared spell, losing it to cast any "cure" spell of the same level spontaneously.
Domains: A Cloistered cleric gets access to a single domain. Chosen Lightning (Air).
Lightning Arc (Sp): As a standard action, you can unleash an arc of electricity targeting any foe within 30 feet as a ranged touch attack. This arc of electricity deals 1d6 points of electricity damage + 1 point for every two cleric levels you possess. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.
Breath of Knowledge: At 1st level, a cloistered cleric gains a bonus on Knowledge skill checks equal to half her class level (minimum +1) and can make Knowledge skill checks untrained.
Well-Read (Ex): At 2nd level, a cloistered cleric gains a +2 bonus on skill checks, caster level checks, and saving throws if such rolls pertain to mundane or magical glyphs, runes, scrolls, symbols, and other writings.
Verbal Instruction (Ex): At 3rd level, a cloistered cleric can use the aid another action to assist an ally within 30 feet on a skill or ability check. The ally must be able to hear and understand the cleric's instructions. For every three class levels beyond 3rd, the cloistered cleric can instruct one additional ally. If all allies are not engaged in the same task, using this ability is a full-round action rather than a standard action.
Scribe Scroll (Su): At 4th level, a cloistered cleric gains Scribe Scroll as a bonus feat.
Jask Mantras: Shalissa has trained how to focus with Jask during her stay at Smuggler’s Shiv, gaining a +2 on Concentration rolls.
Sasha Red Mantis Techniques: Sasha reveals that her mother is an infamous Red Mantis Assassin, and that she’s learned some combat secrets from her that she can share with the PCs. Anyone who spends a day practicing her techniques gains a permanent +1 bonus on Initiative checks.
