I thought that sounded off, but I figured it was a cool hook so I just went with it haha. "You run into a bunch of people who are alive without life support and your first thought is architecture? Sorry to say it's not a field I'm familiar with, but I have a few tricks I want to try. Will update you shortly."
Engineering: " I was afraid you'd say that Mfumbe, but you're not wrong. I'll add it to the list of sites to visit. Brokato you said you were getting ready to go, where were you headed? ¡Ay dios mio! I feel like we're being stretched thin. We need more people on this ship to cover ground." He shakes his head, frustrated.

Sergio looks at Vasquez, then looks at the door.
"Can't say I'm not curious too, but it sounds like Mfumbe is heading back, maybe you should go with him and give an eye witness report on the slime. Here..." Sergio sends the man a copy of the readings he discovered "Getting the full force of the Deronda's science team to looks this over can only improve our situation. Come on, I promise we'll check this out when you come back." " Glad to have you two back on communication, was worried for a second there. I only just fixed the life support, did you see how the crew for this ship was surviving? Part of a war you said? Like, between them and other humans? What the hell happened out here while we were stuck on Earth? Have you been attacked by any creatures made of acid?" Not sure if I can do this, but can I use my craft: mechanical skill to try and estimate how long everything has been left in disrepair, or would that be knowledge technology? Engineering: Sergio enters the Engineering room swiftly. Looking over his shoulder every few seconds to make sure nothing is about to attack him.
"We're back, life support isn't pretty but it'll do for now, anywhere there isn't a hull breech at least. Look at the results I have from the creature that attacked us." GM Isweyg wrote: You find some interesting readings. The acid the creature spat was extremely concentrated sulfuric acid, so concentrated that was almost certainly the product of industrial manufacturing rather than evolutionary process. Adding to this is the fact that you can detect the components of DNA in the creature, which does not occur in non-Earth-based life. Either this thing came from Earth, or whoever it was human "I was starting to be worried that the 'organic mass' might be whatever is left of the crew of this ship, but if the Lieutenants have found survivors...I don't know. Won't speculate. Need more information. Where is it we're headed Brokato?"

To be honest Lieutenant, it might be, but I really wish you hadn't mentioned it. Life support should resume shortly to any area without a breech. GM: After Sergio, with the help of his fellow crew member, finishes up life support repairs he looks over his analysis from the remains of their brief, but nerve wracking combat encounter. Did my chemical analysis reveal anything about the slime that is useful?

Corporal Brokato, keep trying to contact the rest of our team. Once I have my information I'm going to finally fix this life support and return to engineering. Report to me every 10 minutes so I know we're still in contact, if I don't here from you I'll drop what we're doing and head back immediately instead." I should be able to fix this with your help Vasquez but don't touch anything until I'm sure it's safe. He then reports in to the other half of his team. Hey bridge team, have you encountered scorch marks or acid anywhere else on the ship? Or...uh...slime? The life support system is covered in it. Gm:
As he continues to investigate he pulls out his sonic gun and reactivates his magnetic boots. His calculations are disturbed by long range communication chatter, his eyes go wide when he actually processes that it's not chatter but an actual emergencey. Lieutenant Mfumbe is every thing alright? Brokato what's going on? Vasquez and I are returning to engineering as soon as we can. GM: Sergio stops to think, unsure of how to proceed. He shakes his head as he runs some imaginary scenarios in his mind but without more information he can't be sure what's actually going on. Finally he looks at Vasquez.
I know you probably want to run up there right now, so do I, but without knowing what's going on I still think life support is our best bet. That way if anyone tears a suit or needs emergency medical aid, we have a buffer between them and immediate death. He explains the plan to clear out the turbines, and asks Vasquez to also remain alert. He suggests using their dominant hands to hold lethal weaponry and doing whatever they can with the other. It might slow them down, but Sergio is less sure of survival than he was a few minutes ago.

We'll keep you apprised of any information we discover. Engineering: Sergio switches back to short range communication and shakes his head at Corporal O'Hara.
Given the councilors revelation, it may actually not be safe to investigate the anomaly without the whole group. I'd be glad to have Vasquez's help, keep in contact though, there may be more going on here. After that it's potential salvage, ship logs, salvage. Everyone ready? Figure we can pick a docking spot after we see what the sensors say. HP:22║ Defense 17║F+6 R+3 W+1║ Init+2║Action Points 6║ With a look that said Well he isn't very pleasant. Sergio shrugged at Arianna. We don't seem to have too many crew members with any actual situational experience on our crew, in fact aside from my engineering and astrophysics background I'm not entirely sure what the rest of our parties specializations have to do with operating an unknown space station at all. I should be able to pilot us to the station, but it's been 200 years since human space flight and we had to make most of thus up as we went a long. I figure it's about a 5% chance we'll actually be able to hook up to their docking bays, so I suggest before we take off everyone get into the supplied flight suits, just incase. He stops talking and plugs a few numbers into his computer. It's also unlikely to have functioning life support considering we have to figure that out on arrival so, you know, there's that too.

As the ships councilor introduced herself Sergio saluted her. Ensign Sergio Ordonez, please to meet you ma'm. If I'm not mistaken you are the ranking officer for our hopefully enlightening mission here. Looks like you're calling the shots. Sergio remembers to smile and addresses the rest of the team as a whole. I recognize Corporal Jazzming from the Captain's address, though I don't believe I've ever met our fourth member here, though I think I may have been the pilot for the shuttle the brought you here. What he's assumed were precautionary measures were just standard procedure for an extended flight. It was only a few days, but it was a longer test than he'd expected given that this was the first spacecraft built in centuries. He popped a few equations into his personal computer and added a reminder to sleep at some point. He waited patiently for the Corporal to rattle off her questions, and after the captain responded, followed up with his own. Captain Anish, will we be running with a full crew or are we all going to be, well, wearing a lot of hats so to speak? If we're to be covering multiple stations when will our assignments be forwarded to us? Lastly, why Sol-B, I understand wanting to keep a probe that far out, but doesn't it also leave a larger window for potential detection?
