So it sounds like the chance of these coming back is not good.

I have always just bought them all in the past, what options are there to maybe make my own? Is there some kind of program that would allow me to cut images from the pdf's or battle cards and then print that on cardstock or something? Not very computer saavy, sorry for the ignorance :).

I don't know why a legal distribution license would have any real bearing on an unprofitable product coming back.

With people jumping ship with WOTC I didn't know if a significant increase in the Paizo player base would generate enough interest in their products to make it profitable again.

First edition had pawn products for its entire life cycle when it was beating D&D, I assume if it wasn't generating profit they would have discontinued it back then.

Okay so hear me out. This has nothing to do with the ORC but...

Given that shipping, printing, and production of paper/cardstock has gone so high and that it mostly had to be done overseas would HAPPILY purchase PLASTIC pawns at a higher price.

There are THOUSANDS of injection molding companies with on-the-line image transfer printing that could take this product and chug out batches of these at the rate of tens of thousands per HOUR right here in the USA and, in addition to that, there are also a BUNCH of UNION shops that you could bid on/choose from.

In the end the user gets a higher quality and more durable product, you lose WAY in shipping costs, it can be delivered in less than a quarter of the time that it would require getting it from China, and you sidestep the entire paper/cardstock shortage.

I would LOVE that!!! I am super picky about my pawns, always make people wash hands/handle with care, plastic would be a much better solution. I also would pay more for that option!

I am not sure why they discontinued the pawns line, I assume low sales, but with the recent surge of interest in Paizo is it possible to bring pawns back or have they said definitely never again? One of my favorite things about Pathfinder and Starfinder is the huge selection of maps and the pawns that allow us to have a visual representation of the characters and monsters using the fantastic official artwork.

I keep my pawns in the big boxes as well. I will say that the new cover that comes with the smaller sets makes it easy to keep the pawns in the original casing as well.

Thanks for the great suggestion! Unfortunately after years of opening pawn boxes like a giddy schoolgirl, I am afraid the first thing I do is pop the pawns out and trash the cut out sheets. :(

I have every pawn ever made for PF and love them all! I wish that you guys would either make some dividers or collaborate with another company and have them do it. With thousands and thousands of pawns now there is no good organization solution and I would rather just have dividers and keep them all in the boxes they came in.

This isn't my groups cup of tea, too evil for our taste. That is fine that they made an adventure path for this, I am sure most people will like it, I just wish it wasn't RIGHT after another hell themed adventure path. For our group it is an entire year of wasted adventure paths, in the future I wish you would spread out similarly themed adventure paths, because if it is a theme someone doesn't enjoy it is a year before they have something to look forward too again.

I know this has been brought up before, but PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE release a Colossal/Gargantuan pawn set of the Bestiaries 1-4, I will pay good money for that. I know I can put a teddy bear on the board and use my imagination, but I want pawns of all the awesome iconic monsters especially now that Cthulu is a possibility, it is kind of dumb looking when you have accurate representations of minor monsters, but all the really awesome ones are left out. Thanks in advance Paizo.
