Lets be honest. Guughwa has no need for the cauldron, magic weapons or magic armor. She only wants these things to make herself feel more important. Trading them to her only feeds her ego.

The look on the Dinoshaman's face shows how little he seems to like the extra-planar creature. He lets out a sigh.

Maybe we can appease her with potions which she could actually use or some of the gold we are lugging around. Or maybe we could even offer to perform a service for her.

Okay the Cauldron is worth 3000gp so we could almost outright buy it from her.

We have 2974.6 gp... this includes the 500 gp each from Narsus plus every other coin we found

Potions we have about 2000gp worth of potions as well.
2 barkskin potions(300gp each)
4 lesser restoration potions (300 gp each)
4 potions of remove fear (50 gp each)

Maybe she'll just let us go do some menial task for her. Unblock some dam In the river, kill an elemental or creature that she feels is polluting the river... track down a rare egg... etc...

Seeing that the man has been finished off Sau're'!K goes after the men who are fleeing. He moves 30 ft. drawing a spear and throwing it.

Seeing the man go down Sau're'!K knows he has to do something. He quickly drops his scimitar and moves towards the fallen man. While he moves there he tells Re'!k'th to follow and then gives him a new target. As he arrives at the man he pulls out a handful of Good-berries.

Sau're'!K chuckles. Goober is as good a way to describe the creature as any. I was assuming it was some kind of mold or fungus. I must admit I have never seen anything like it. It had no discernible anatomy and it's body seemed to flow into itself .

From a Rule As Written perspective...

Normally an infected patient is allowed 1 save to resist the effects of a disease every day.

Anti plague allows an infected patient to make two rolls and keep the higher that day.

A successful heal check to treat disease gives the infected patient a +4 bonus on his saves.

Red ache requires two successful saves, which would mean two different days, to be cured. This means spending the night here to treat the mans disease.

The module writers may, however, have assumed he already made his save yesterday and just needs a little help today to make his save.

I am curious to see if this is just a spend the resources and move on moment or if we will be spending game days treating the man.

He has Red Ache, typically it attacks the muscles deteriorating one's strength. This is natural to the jungles. I know how to treat this. Let us hope this man has the strength to resist the diseases effects.

Having treated the man Sau're'!K looks at Sulia... We are lucky I have seen this particular disease before. Still I find myself a bit jealous of your ability to channel so much healing energy so quickly. I suppose we each have our strengths.

I assume that the GM will impose some penalties on said club...If the fight even lasts another round.

Seeing the Mess Sau're'!K takes a moment and his eyes and nostrils seem to grow longer, more saurian. Using Totem transformation to gain low-light vision and scent.

He then immediately does a once around the cabin looking for tracks or signs of where the ransackers have gone.
Survival(track): 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (4) + 13 = 17

After this he walks in the cabin and takes a few minutes looking around for clues.
Taking 20 on the perception check inside the cabin for a total of 29.

This leaves many question... how aggressive are the Song'o. The only one we have ever encountered alive is Muhdzuzi. He does not seem all that violent... but he may be Atypical.
Maybe you had gone into some of their sacred land without knowing it? Did they try to communicate before attacking?
Either way we will have to be careful when we approach them.

Sau're'!K takes a deep breath to indicate that he is getting ready to talk and after a moment begins... The jungle can be a terrible place to those who do not tread lightly, and are unfamiliar with its dangers. I would wish for us to all be aware of what dangers may lie in wait in this particular expanse of jungle. Anything you can tell us of your expedition and how it faired could prove useful. How many did you take? Were any of your peoples familiar with jungle terrains? How long did you travel? How far were you able to go? What dangers did you successfully avoid? What dangers were you able to defeat? What eventually forced you to turn back? If you had to describe the mood of the jungle here what words would you use?

In the room with the town council Sau're'K speaks up in response to Visrub.

I agree that we should go find Muhdzuzi as our first order of business. He knows right where the Song'o are and will make it much easier to find them and get the information we need. Besides we made a promise to him that we should keep.

The druid pauses for a second in thought pulling an errant braid away from his face.

We also need to begin making preparations for our journey. It may take several days to procure the supplies we need because of the condition of the town. It makes no sense to rush off as quickly as possible if we are not properly prepared and outfitted. The Jungle can be cruel to those unprepared for it and These Lizard men are not to be taken lightly. I would also appreciate a chance to speak with Miss Hamsa to discuss what dangers she encountered on her expedition. Perhaps you would have time later today after the council has finished its business.?

As if to punctuate the last statement Sau're'K looks at Hamsa and Adaela and with a nod knowing that these two women know exactly what kind of danger they are sending the adventurers into.

Having very little interest in the parcel of land Saurek tries to move the conversation along.

I as a player think it will be cool to see what the party decides to do with their plot of land. The character however could not care less, although he will be more than happy to assist the others in whatever plan they come up with if asked.

Loot stuffs....

1. I'm good with giving Sulia the wand and would also like to give her the broach of shielding. Stop the GM from taking potshots on our healer to interrupt our healing.

2.I always like to pool party resources when possible. Makes more sense to me that two people get what they want instead of having four waiting to get more money. It also makes handling store credits and the such easier. Is this okay with everyone.

3.Stuff we need to sell still
Masterwork leather armor: 80gp credit with Vethorn
Silver Holy Symbol of Erastil: 10gp
Silver Flatware setting.... GM HOW MUCH?

4.If we get Visrub the Rapier he was eying with our store credit and cover the difference with our take so far...

This should leave the party with... 424.9gp

5.Personally I would like to get Sarai a weapon upgrade as well... that would be another 300 gold plus whatever the weapons base cost is.

6. Any other thoughts on how we want to split and spend money?

With this storm over I'm sure Adaela will have much more work for us. We also need to get Muhdzuzi home to his people.

Saurek would find the Song'o Halfling and make sure he is okay. Beyond that he would spend his time helping any people in the town who are suffering from injuries or generally need help.
