Greetings again everyone.

I've been hitting a bit of a wall with my Harrow decks, so I am trying my hand at a few new things. Based on some ideas from one of the speculation threads, as well as some of the preview things for the new Core set, I am putting together my ideas for such, and welcoming thoughts and opinions.

My basic idea is along the lines of the smaller source books be they heritage books or regional books. Each deck would provide location, boons and banes to help fill in with the core set and provide for expanding on self made scenarios. The decks would also have 1-3 new characters that matched with the theme. These characters would be tied to a Class deck as well as the cards in the expansion deck. Example, the Dragon Expansion deck would have a Triaxian Dragonkin Rider. He would use the Paladin class deck and the Dragon Expansion deck to draw his potential cards from.

Going on the similar 109 card sized deck from the Class decks, I imagine a breakdown along the following lines. One of each level (1-6) for Barriers, Monsters, Blessings and Armors, and two of each for Weapons, Allies, Spells and items. Some of the remaining cards would be a selection of locations and villains/henchmen as well as a sample scenario card drawing upon the deck theme. Then there would be up to 12 character cards, 3 new characters and a owned card for each.

I will post up some of the deck ideas and make separate posts to start breaking them down.

Greetings, I've been lurching about for a while and figured it was about time for me to start posting some of the things I have been working on in my spare time.

I am a great fan of the Harrow in Pathfinder and thought it would be interesting to bring that into the Adventure Card game. What I have worked up is a set of three Class Deck style decks with their focus split between various suits within the Harrow.

I have pulled much of my inspiration for these characters and powers from the Harrow Handbook and the Harrow deck.

A basic primer on the Harrow is there are 6 suits, Books, Crowns, Hammers, Keys, Shields, Stars. They have loose ties to various attributes, attitudes, races and parts of Golarion.

Similar to the Goblin Decks, I separated the various characters based on similarities, and have the decks: The Deck of Hammer and Shield, The Deck of Book and Key, and the Deck of Crown and Star.

The Hammer and Shield are the more martial of the characters, the Cavalier, Inquisitor, and Magus. The Book and Key are the self focused of the characters, the Monk, Rogue and Summoner. The Crown and Star are the more magical, the Oracle, Sorcerer and Witch.

This will be a work in progress posting, and I wills tart with some of the alternate mechanics for the decks first, so that some of their powers presented in their character write ups will make more sense.

Hope you enjoy and look forward to the feed back!

Hey there, I was wondering if anyone knew if the class symbols used on the class deck boxes and cards were to be found anywhere on the site. I wanted to print up labels for the duo deck boxes and match them to the classes inside.

"When you attempt to defeat a barrier that has the Skirmish or the Task trait, you may use your Diplomacy skill in place of any listed skill for the check."

Does this work on things like Pirate Hunting? (Summon and encounter a random ship, or a random monster if you are not on a ship.) The listed skill on the check is found on a summoned card. Does her ability only work on things printed directly on the barrier itself, or on any check related to the barrier in general?

Hey there. Just wanted to drop a thank you to the staff that helped out with the demo and marathon at Paizocon this year. Thanks for all the hard work. This was my first opportunity to make it to 'Con, and I had a blast. How far along did the marathon get? Looking forward to OP this year and more marathon next year.
