About Sandurel
Sandurel is not a particularly distinctive-looking elf to most observers, although to those who know about such things his almost-white hair and sandy skin tones hint at an unusual desert heritage. Generally smiling and friendly, without ever getting intimate, he has a world-weary air about him which he presents with a rather roguish charm.
Sandurel does not talk about his childhood, but it is clear that he has been many places and done many things throughout the course of his 200-some years. In fact, Sandurel left his home community early and spent most of his life in the company of humans, traveling throughout the Inner Sea regions.
Time and again, Sandurel felt himself drawn by his heritage to the desert. Having a thirst for knowledge, he ended up developing a fascination with the exploration of desert ruins, which tended to be more well-preserved than those in some other climates. His thirst for knowledge grew to encompass far more than the desert, however, and he spent much time seeking both questions and answers not only in academic centers, but also in places where, technically speaking, he wasn’t really allowed to go.
Sandurel is not above exploiting political situations to get him access to places and objects which would otherwise be closed to him. Currently he is associated with Qadira (as he has been for some time now), as that faction within the Pathfinder Society has no problem with his sometimes unorthodox methods.
