The standard is a 1" grid (or 25mm), however, as the inches increase the mm don't simply increase by 25mm to match. As Sean says 2" is 50mm (almost 51mm), but 3" bases are 76mm.
If you google 3" to mm and so on you'll see what I mean. Here's a link http://www.engineeringtoolbox.com/inches-mm-conversion-d_751.html
Dungeon Crawler is in the process of creating a colossal 8" figure base from our KickStarter (the Kraken). We are looking at getting extra 8" round bases made. If it's economical, we'll be announcing something soon. :)
Sounds like my Cthulhu Mini is going to need to go into the briny depths soon.
I do need to still figure out how to base my Huge minis.
Did you participate in the Reaper kickstarter, Sean? I'm trying to decide if I should base my Pathfinder Red Dragon as a Large mini or a Huge mini. He looks a little bit smaller physically than the Jabberwock, who is definetely Huge, but Wayne Reynold's art makes the dragon look Huge. What do you think?
Here is a photo for some reference: Feiya is not having a good day.
Yep! its old now. MM to Inches
