Shayliss is the daughter of Ven and Solsta Vinder out of Sandpoint. She was a wild and rebellious child, and developed... quite the reputation in town for her... escapades.
That is, until a mysterious sorceress came into town and won her heart. Desna apparently smiled upon this union, for it was blessed and fruitful in a bizarre sort of divine intervention sort of way.
After her partner went off and dealt with some uppity 'Runelord' person, Shayliss started to feel the old urge to wander starting to kick in again, but she fought it long enough for her love to come back in victory.
Now she's working for the Pathfinder Society, to try and help her partner regain her status in nobility (though Maxila would argue that it isn't important anymore with the power of the dragons in the family bloodline.)
Besides, staying at home and raising the kid was her job when Maxila was off 'saving the world'... now it's her turn to go adventure!
