So... Someone ratted me out at work (pun not intentional). I can't go to any sites other than Google, Pandora, and the work page without the IT department getting me fired. And, much like tabletop gaming, my real life destroys any opportunity or option to continue.

Kazuya stands up from tripping over. With a bit of quick acting...

I wasn't sure about the XP thing. I can't seem to find that rule again now that I actually need to find it lol EDIT: Found it.

Also... Path of the Dragon. I'm not allowed to deny a challenge against superior odds or retreat. EDIT: If I do, -1 forward and lose a ki.

Kazuya sticks to the shadows in weasel form, trying to sneak behind the werecreatures. Then, he transforms and tries to clear the grounds for his fleeing allies.

With my history, ending up in jail for a brawl would be a minor bump in the road lol Spending one of my ki to increase my damage on the attack 1d6
Hack and Slash: 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (2, 1) + 1 = 4
Damage: 1d8 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + (3) = 8

Attacking. Wasn't sure if it's Defy Danger to avoid damage or not.

"Surprise and stealth are our allies now."

With that, Kazuya shifts to his weasel form and begins to scale the outer wall of the lighthouse.

Query: Is it safe to assume that I'm currently holding 3 ki, or not?

"I'm certain there would be. The 'regent' brags about his connections regularly."

Kazuya took stock of his fellow conspirators. This was going to be a wild night. The monk smiled widely, a cold gesture.

"Keep your money. When would you need this done, Tremblay?"

What here is useful or valuable to me?
What should I be on the lookout for?

"Banes, you say? That is certainly an interesting tactic... Well, Tremblay, as always you can count on my arm in this matter."

"Moreover, what is it that you want us to find proof of, Tremblay? Murder? Extortion? Slave taking?" Kazuya smirks a little at his old friend. "You never were good with concrete examples."

Despite my hatred of heights, I would like to get an idea as to what we'd be pitted against.
What is it that I see?

Kazuya took note of the other warrior that had entered the lighthouse. He recognized him, but he didn't know quite from where.

"So, Tremblay, what is the business you have gathered us for?"

I tend to stay in human form, unless I want to infiltrate something. Then, weasel. Hybrid form is a last ditch effort for me. Think Bloody Roar and you'd be close to the concept :)

Kazuya nodded to himself. This was the Tremblay that he knew. The martial artist followed the manservant, hoping that light would soon be shed on this situation.

"It is better to have empty pockets than an empty heart."
Despite his reluctance, Kazuya started to relax a little. He felt that a proper introduction would be best. "I am Kazuya. Feustus I am familiar with, but the rest of you I only know by looks."

Kazuya's eyes widened.

Kazuya looked up at the approach of the gravekeeper. To the florist, he added "I am a friend of Tremblay's. We have... history."

Kazuya stood aloof near the base of the lighthouse, eyeing the other two.
"Yes. Well, a friend that works for the governor, at least," he responded to the elven performer.
He recognized both from around this part of town. Not that they had had much interaction to this point.
Kazuya turned to the antlered human. "I have been by your store lately. The smells are pleasant."
He shuffled a little. Light conversation often made Kazuya uncomfortable.

Of course I can't resist an urgent call from Tremblay. My good friend has called in my "services" many times in the past. Though, never with such secrecy that required intermediaries...

What part of its cycle is the moon at tonight?

@Aifric: So, my only open bond was Aifric has ulterior motives for traveling with me.
