• Canellir and her twin brother Rellimir were born under the blood moon her slightly before midnight, and him slightly after midnight so they were twins born on different days and in different years… and omen to be sure.
• Both exceeded in their own ways with Canellir showing great promise as a mage, and her brother fine combat abilities.
• As teens their father was named Royal Alchemist to the Elven Court, and for years they worked to assist him in his duties. Her with the mixing and making of the potions themselves, and Rellimir with gathering components. Their mother became a close advisor to the Elven Queen.
• Upon reaching adulthood both siblings were recruited as agents of the Royal Court, with Rellimir as a combat advisor, and Canellir as ambassador to the Orc presence in Alfheim.
• They were both sent on an oversea voyage to hopefully reach an agreement with the Orc kingdoms, when and unnatural storm blew their boat off course and they were shipwrecked.
• After a while a ship with blood red sails appeared on the horizon. Rellimir decided to try to swim out to get their attention, and indeed he reached the ship which took him on board then sailed away, wrestling the weakened elven man into the bowels of the ship before sailing off.
• Canellir lived alone on the island for months and learned to subsist on the bounty of the deserted island.
• Finally about a month ago she was rescued by a ship flying the flag of the Grand Duchy of Karameikos. She was brought to the kingdom, and after a time recuperating from her ordeal, she has tried to start getting her life back together.
• All she has to remember her brother by is her memories of the ship that abducted him, and his sword… which she practices with daily…
but it’s so heavy.
