Rocco was born a Gunsmiths son. While growing up, he assumed he take over the business from dad when he got older. He alwasy found it odd how many shady types were his father business, some of them he knew for sure were pirates. But then dad, through some bad luck, or maybe it was orchestrated, came to financial ruin and found himself unable to pay off his debts. He owed these pirates guns and he didn't couldn't afford to make them. The pirate leader Skolos, generously took Rocco as payment to add to his crew, being they were descendants of Galroc "One Eye" a fair renowned pirate in his day. At first Rocco refused, Skolos Countered "You may be descendants of Galroc, but a debt is a debt, you'll be swabbin' my decks or I'll be running yer pappy and mummy through!" Hearing Skolos threatened his father and mother he decided to join them. At first they treated him , like a servant, get this fix that, clean that. Fate changed the day they were spotted and hunted down by an andoran Naval ship, they boarded The "Black Lass", Skolo's ship and the pirates were fighting for their lives. Rocco finding a dead naval officer by his feet, searched him and took his firearm and supplies and joined the fight, taking out the captain of the Andoran ship with a lucky shot. Being short on crew and grateful for his assistance, they let him join the crew. That was a few weeks ago. He has since then picked up his own, crude but serviceable pistol. The ship is now in dock for repairs that will take a few months. Nothing to do but get in trouble it seems....
