About Robin BlackbrookRobin Blackbrook
Abilities:
Str 13 Dex 18 Con 10 Int 10 Wis 14 Cha 12 Feats:
Weapon Finesse: Attack with Dex for light weapons, certain finesse weapons.
Weapon Focus (bonus): +1 attack rolls with Glaives Bladed Brush: You can use the Weapon Finesse feat to apply your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier to attack rolls with a glaive sized for you, even though it isn’t a light weapon. When wielding a glaive, you can treat it as a one-handed piercing or slashing melee weapon and as if you were not making attacks with your off-hand for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a duelist’s or swashbuckler’s precise strike). As a move action, you can shorten your grip on the glaive, treating it as though it lacked the reach weapon property. You can adjust your grip to grant the weapon the reach property as a move action. Traits:
Unswaying Love (Religion) Your resolute devotion to the unadulterated purity of your goddess protects you from those who would manipulate you. You gain a +2 trait bonus on saving throws against charm or compulsion effects.
Magical Knack (Magic) Your caster level in warpriest gains a +2 trait bonus as long as this bonus doesn’t raise your caster level above your current Hit Dice. Roll with It (Campaign) You’ve trained with some of the best giantslayers out there, and have learned how to avoid the worst effects of a giant’s powerful attacks. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Reflex saves. In addition, once per day, when a creature with the giant subtype successfully confirms a critical hit against you with a weapon or a slam attack (not a spell or special ability), you can roll with the attack. You take normal damage from the blow, as if the critical had not been confirmed. You must be aware of the attack and able to react to it—if you are denied your Dexterity bonus to AC, you can’t use this ability. If you are a dwarf or a gnome, you can use this ability twice per day. Skills:

Bonus Feat: Humans gain an additional feat. -------------------- TRACKED RESOURCES -------------------- See stat line above. -------------------- Special Abilities -------------------- Proficiencies: A warpriest is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, as well as the favored weapon of his deity, and with all armor (heavy, light, and medium) and shields (except tower shields). If the warpriest worships a deity with unarmed strike as its favored weapon, the warpriest gains Improved Unarmed Strike as a bonus feat. Aura: Aura of Good. Blessings: A warpriest’s deity influences his alignment, what magic he can perform, his values, and how others see him. Each warpriest can select two blessings from among those granted by his deity (each deity grants the blessings tied to its domains). A warpriest can select an alignment blessing (Chaos, Evil, Good, or Law) only if his alignment matches that domain. If a warpriest isn’t devoted to a particular deity, he still selects two blessings to represent his spiritual inclinations and abilities, subject to GM approval. The restriction on alignment domains still applies.
Sacred Weapon: At 1st level, weapons wielded by a warpriest are charged with the power of his faith. In addition to the favored weapon of his deity, the warpriest can designate a weapon as a sacred weapon by selecting that weapon with the Weapon Focus feat; if he has multiple Weapon Focus feats, this ability applies to all of them. Whenever the warpriest hits with his sacred weapon, the weapon damage is based on his level and not the weapon type. The warpriest can decide to use the weapon’s base damage instead of the sacred weapon damage—this must be declared before the attack roll is made. (If the weapon’s base damage exceeds the sacred weapon damage, its damage is unchanged.) This increase in damage does not affect any other aspect of the weapon, and doesn’t apply to alchemical items, bombs, or other weapons that only deal energy damage.
Spontaneous Casting: A good warpriest (or a neutral warpriest of a good deity) can channel stored spell energy into healing spells that he did not prepare ahead of time. The warpriest can expend any prepared spell that isn’t an orison to cast any cure spell of the same spell level or lower. A cure spell is any spell with “cure” in its name. Character Story and Fluff:
Background: For Robin, he had dreamed of running away from home the moment the first chain had been placed in his hands. Born to a Nidalese family and expected to inherit a difficult but "rewarding" life of trading luxurious goods and even more luxurious people to and from Cheliax, Robin had immediately found himself chafing against his fate. His family was strict, with clear expectations for behavior, appearance, attitude and profit margins. He on the other hand could not have matched them worse. He eschewed the traditional piercings, was dreadful at sums, and showed no aptitude for minding the merchandise, no matter how many times he was whipped. His interest in the lovely treasures that passed through their home was punished with word and work. He was simply not the son they wished for. It was no surprise to himself or anyone else when he found himself outside the gates of Pangolais, furtively bartering away the cache of silks he'd stolen for passage northward.
Had Robin not found himself in the friendly embrace of a traveling caravan of Shelynite pilgrims, he may have pursued a very different path upon reaching Korvosa, one of petty theft and ignoble deeds. Instead, the group of artists and craftswomen took him in and awakened in him the seed of love that had been dormant all his life. From the age of thirteen, he'd traveled with the group as they wandered from locale to locale, finding the greatest landscapes of the lands to paint and inspire. He found joy in the arts that had been denied to him within his old family, throwing himself with incredible vigor into learning as much as he could. It was in this group that he learned to sow, to draw, to paint, and most importantly of all to connect with others. Perhaps due to the repression of his childhood, Robin's heart bloomed strong, irrepressible hope and optimism washing away the dark memories. The caravan's journey took the group up into Belkzen, facing a fair share of danger, from wandering orc bands to vicious wildlife. The Shelynites solved encounters peacefully if they could, but with confident blades if they could not. This led them to Trunau, where Robin had spied the smithy - Clamour - and on the spot decided he had found his next dream to pursue. Robin has now been a resident of Trunau for just over six months, the latest metalworking apprentice under Sara Morninghawk. While he's a diligent student, his outspoken desire to work on items of beauty rather than practical value frequently puts him behind on his schedule and at odds with his mentor. Nevertheless, he hopes to create a new generation of hopeknives while his apprenticeship lasts that do more than serve grim necessity. Personality: Starry eyed and irrepressible, Robin has no problem speaking the most shamelessly naive things that pop into his mind. Quick to love and with perhaps a little too much of it to go around for his well being, he sees Shelyn's touch in everyone and everything. That includes all manner of fearsome creature, battle-hardened orc, or unholy abomination. Appearance: Robin strikes a delicate figure, with short blond curls, wide brown eyes, rosy cheeks and a graceful way of holding himself. He's dressed with a leather vest over an embroidered green blouse and leather pants that seem impractically tight. Delicate earrings of copper and malachite hang from his ears. Though it is rarely with him, a finely crafted glaive is his weapon of choice, its haft sporting a long silk tassel that dances as he spins the weapon.
