Cosmo,

Please cancel both my subscription to the Pathfinder Adventures, as well as the Pathfinder AP.

Thanks,

Richard Weimer

The timing of this thread could not have come at a better time. I've been considering how to convince the current group that I'm running to convert from 3.5E to 4E. They have just entered Vaprak's Voice, and are at the portcullis. These ideas will definitely come into use if the players want to swap gaming systems.

I'll see tonight, when we play.

My data is pretty much only the creatures and items in the locations, as well as the maps of the locations. Little or no text was entered by myself; I still read/reference from the book itself for the room descriptions.

My e-mail address is: rw_weimer AT hotmail DOT com. Let's work some data exchange details.

Is this data that you are entering from the magazines (3.0 edition rules) or from the hardcover book (3.5 edition rules)?

I am currently running this campaign from the hardcover, and have entered data supporting the first three chapters (Life's Bazaar, Drakthar's Way, and Flood Season).

I wouldn't mind exchanging data between us if you are doing the hardcover version also. The party is finishing up Flood Season, so having data supporting the next portion of the book would sure be helpful to me.

Cos,

Good timing. I received the missing package today. That's the good news. The bad news is that the shipping container was horribly mangled. In fact, the USPS had applied plastic shrink wrap around it, and included a note about how such things sometimes happen and apologized for it.

When I opened the package, the modules inside it are, at best, barely usable. They appear to have nearly been bent in half at several places, making them nearly impossible to even open.

What is the procedure to get a replacement for these two modules? Do I have to ship the damaged ones to you? Contact the USPS? Anything else?

Thanks,

Richard,

I will put replacement copies in with your next subscription shipment.

However, I would suggest that you consider switching you shipping method for your subscriptions to something like UPS Ground. While it is a more expensive option, the packages are packed in a larger UPS box and they are insured and trackable. With the USPS shipments, these things occasionally happen and neither you (the recipient) nor we (the sender) have any recourse. I will send replacements for this shipment, but we will not be able to do so if this should happen again.

thanks,
cos

Thank you for the quick reply. I have changed my shipping method to UPS Ground for future deliveries.

I have not yet received my print edition of Pathfinder #5 and GameMastery Module J2 (mailed January 15th per the order history status). I have received the subsequent shipment, order #868131, with PF #6 and GM U2, as well as all previous print editions.

Thank you,

Grr. Looks like around 150 orders have this problem. I've written some code to fix it, but since it will be a robot directly manipulating orders, I'm going to have to grab a current copy of our database so I can properly test it.

This fix may take a couple of hours to complete.

exactly 2 hours after this reply, i get the e-mail notification that it was ready for download. Thanks for the hard work and quick reply!

For some reason your Players Guide didn't have a shipping address attached, so the system didn't print a label for you. I'm looking to see if anybody else is in a similar situation; if they are, I'll fix them and get the labels run ASAP.

I have recently started running a Shackled City campaign, and am hooked on the concept of Adventure Paths (plus the quality of that product has really excited both me as a DM and the players).

However, having to subscribe to a magaazine just to get the next "episode" did seem cost-effective for me (particularly since I would have to get the majority of them via back-orders). I was hoping to see the other two APs enhanced and released via a hardcover version, similar to the first, but alas, it will not happen.
However, having a product that is specifically creating/enhancing Adventure Paths has convinced me to subscribe. Having the ability to also download PDFs of the modules is also a really good business decision, since I do all of my D&D playing via my laptop typically.

Another subscription sold!
