I make my character and find an open game to join...

I have a question, most likely a dumb one. I DM a pathfinder game and play in one but I am new in pathfinder society. My question is this are archetypes that are on the website but not official allowed? Example: In one of my games have a blacksnake dual whip wielding arcane striking bard. Is the blacksnake archetype legal?

I am interested in playing I just had that question before I go building something illegal.
