I normally do use Tiger Stance but I thought I had read/heard somewhere that Stoked Flame Stance worked differently than it apparently does. That is why I asked, to make sure that the Stoked Flame Stance didn't make monks into The Flash.

I am looking to build a monk using the stoked flame stance for its speed boost and wanted to make sure I am reading this correctly. For levels 1 and 2 its pretty straight forward, you go 5 ft faster while in stance. Its after a monk gets incredible movement that I have questions.

Do you just go 5 ft faster than normal at every level or does the speed boost from the stance stack with incredible movement normal boost. Do you go 10 ft faster at lvl 7, 15 ft faster at lvl 11 and so on.

They're also advanced, meaning they will tend to lag behind the martial weapons in terms of to hit one way or another, which isn't great.

Well, the way I would get access to them would be to take Monastic Weapons, Weapon Proficiency, and Unconventional Weaponry either all at level 1 or by level 5 which would cause the advanced weapon to count as martial so proficiency wouldn't be a problem.

So it sounds like it would just eat up a lot of feats for just looking cool. Maybe if I play a game that uses both Free Archetype and Ancestry Paragon I might use them.
