After running Darkest Vengeance a discussion came up and was looking for other inputs into this.

During the final fight with Zoathrias (dark stalker) the PC's discovered they had no way of countering the deeper darkness and facing a creature that can see in it. Thinking they were doomed they tried to retreat back to the boats.

Here is where the question later came up. The scenario states that in his combat gear Zoathrias has an elemental gem (earth), So I used it to prevent the PC's escape and ability to regroup. This led to one death and a couple of unconscious PCs before they Zoathrias.

The debate was, would and/or can he use it. My thinking was it is in his gear why wouldn't he use it. The argument was it in mentioned no where in his tactics that he would use it so he can't.

Just wondering what everyone's opinion on this is.

I am preparing to run Serpent's rise and have a question. There is a character sheet for the Saint a level 12 paladin located in the back. My problem is I can't find anywhere that it is used. Please help me, I have been beating my head on the table trying to find it.

A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 7th-level pregenerated characters.

Years of political maneuvering, espionage, smuggling, and diplomacy have set the stage for the Aspis Consortium’s most ambitious attack on their Inner Sea rivals: the Pathfinder Society. All that remains are several key preparations that only an elite team of Aspis agents can arrange, and once the fireworks begin, these same agents must strike quickly and mercilessly to secure objectives—some shared and some connected to deeper plots—and escape without the Society being any the wiser.

In this adventure the players portray agents of the Aspis Consortium using 7th-level pregenerated characters. The events in this story also connect to and expand upon those in "Siege of Serpents".

The is a special scenario and can be applied to any level 6-8 PFS character.

The first to sign up gets first choice of their NPC.

I have came across an alternate racial trait that doesn't seem right to me when plugged into Hero Lab. I know Hero Lab is not a rules source so that is why I am asking.

When building an Aasimar character (it is grandfathered) you select the alternate racial trait Scion of Humanity. Then it gives you access to the human racial traits where you can select the versatile human racial trait.

Now Hero lab is giving you your +2 to wisdom and charisma. It also gives you the new option of selecting two additional attributes to add a +2.

This seems completely wrong to me even though both traits are approved in the additional resources and was wondering if anyone else have seen this is this and have heard of any official ruling on this.
