Male Human Summoner lv1

"Let's find a place to rest tonight. Whatever happened on the road with that carriage might be lurking on the roads still."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Honestly not sure what to do with this at the moment.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"Maybe. Do you think it's safe? I mean, it's here, has a wheel, and otherwise looks in good shape."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Here, just busy.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"If the people with the wagons were behind this, they can't be all bad, right?. Think about it. We could hear that child crying last night, right? Shouldn't that have drawn the shambles like moths to a torch?"

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Ray holds out for as long as he can, hoping the dog forgave him for this, before dismissing it back to it's home plane and prayed the zombies just kept walking anyway.

"That was nerve-wracking..."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Yes, sorry for my absence.

"See you later, Lobo Gris." Ray tells his companion as the wolf disappears. Then he walks over to get a view of the zombies and summons a dog near them, it's fur dark and eyes red. "I hope that works. I can't really try and get it to do anything but attack them, and there's no gurantee that will draw them away."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"Actually, that gives me an idea.. I can summon other creatures beside Lobo, but doing so will send him back to his realm. Do you think I could distract them with a big enough animal?"

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"What good would sheets do?" He asks as he worries about Meg and child.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"Yeah, I heard it too." Ray mutters when Lobo looks up at him "Guys, there's a little kid out there. I'm willing to bet he or she won't run, hide, and be quiet..."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

So the wrong Summoner for this part of the game XD

"Eating people..?" Desna save us all." He murmurs as he goes to the stairs and starts the ritual that summoned his lupine companion. Pale light shone through his right sleeve.

In one minute(ten rounds) the ritual will be complete and Lobo Gris will join us again :)

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"What in the world are you talking about? Are the shamblers what screamed?" Ray asks as he leaves his room.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Ray is awake and reaching for his quarterstaff immediately, his pulse spiking already as looks around for the source of the scream and realizes he doesn't have time(most likely) to call Lobo Gris...

Perception: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"I don't really know. Maybe a church or Joram? I.. didn't think I'd be fighting orcs. Usually Lobo and I handle stray wolves."

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Well, Ferocity let's them stay awake when they would be unconscious from hit point damage. Creatures without Ferocity stop raging when unconscious or the feat.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Quick question: Since you said they were in negatives, do these Orc's not have ferocity?

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

I feel like we need an initiative order at the end of posts or something.

"Take him down, Lobo!" Ray calls out as he loads his sling and tries to strike the Orc attacking his friend. It sails far over the Orc's head though.

Sling: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (1) + 1 - 4 = -2
Damage: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"Lobo, help the elf lady!" Ray calls out as he loads another sling bullet and let's fly on the orc holding Suny.

Sling: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Well, Roycilo, it seems the Orc's aren't the only ones with poor rolls.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Not but a moment after a young man steps out from behind a tree and let's fly with a sling bullet at the other Orc.

Sling vs Orc in Melee: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (7) + 1 - 4 = 4
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Dark Archive

Ray is done and ready to be looked at for any errors.

Dark Archive

Sounds like a great game for the simple farm boy given powers he doesn't understand at all. Blessed for greatness or cursed towards darkness?

I'll make the needed edits in the morning.

Dark Archive

This guy is a character I made just for this. He starts out neutral normally, then his eidolon changes as his alignment does.

Dark Archive

At character creation, I can't think of any of the roles fitting Ray. Of course, he's meant to a character that evolves as the game goes on, so...

Dark Archive

Here's a character I've been trying to play for a while now, especially in. Kingmaker. His background is under the "The Marked" spoiler in his profile. :)

Dark Archive

If it helps, I'm a bit.. reluctant.. to summon mine.

Dark Archive

Azten here with my Summoner idea.

Dark Archive

Congrats! Now uf only Saturday wasn't so far away...

Dark Archive

By ignoring him completely!

with all of these combinations and heroic back stories I wonder if amy normal cook / part time artist will be able to compete.

ahhh who am I kidding he probably will, as long as all you boys stay away from Amieko everything will be fine.

No more or less than a simple farm boy. :)

Dark Archive

Well, I've got Ray tweaked to(I hope) fit Jade Reagent.

GM Lugos wrote:
@Ray: Interesting background story, but yes, tweaking is needed. I also want the stats for Lobo, since you are a summoner and I assume that they are your eidolon.

Here.

I'm guessing the main tweak would be how he got to/why he's in Sandpoint? I'm thinking about the Rescued(Shalelu) trait.

Dark Archive

He needs some tweaking, but may I present my summoner?

Dark Archive

1 person marked this as a favorite.

When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much...

This summoner is an experiment by the gods to see if sudden, unwanted power would drive a person towards good or evil.

Dark Archive

Nevermind, missed the 'no summoners' part. :(

Dark Archive

Just a farmboy in over his head. Background is in my profile under 'The Marked.'

But I didn't sum- oh, you were talking about you. Nevermind.

Got an extremely tiny amount of time, so I thought I'd welcome the new recruits. :)

Dark Archive

I believe I said my posting would dip for a bit...

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Man, that combination of name, class, and race take me back...

Anyway, this is gonna be my last day for a while. :/
I should be able to post a bit Sunday though.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

I might run, actually. Would be a dark, defining moment for me I think. Plus, since my posting time is going to drop soon anyway, that might work out pretty well.

Then I'll come back one day to hunt down the bandits one by one... (一_一)

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

"I'm not just leaving Gurni!" Ray tells Lucky as he draws his dagger and tosses it at the bandit standing over the fallen scizore-wielder.

Dagger, Thrown:1d20 + 2 + 1 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 - 2 = 7

Move Action: Draw dagger.
Standard Action: Throw dagger*.
*Pretend dagger is Malcom and the bandit is a door.

I should introduce you to the 1 and only Psion I have ever played with. It was broken beyond all measure.

At which point I would introduce you to the guy in my group who played a Core Wizard, didn't even prepare half his spells for the day, and was still the strongest member in our party by far.

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

I don't think anyone ever proved Psionics were broken, but that's beside the point. If you think they don't fit in your world, I'm fine with that.

Dreamscarred Press has done fine work with bring Psionics to the power level as Core, though, if you ever feel like taking a peek. ;)

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

Aww, no telepath to go through our minds and eventually take control of the entire party because psionics are so utterly broken? :(

I jest, of course. ;)

I'm not against it.

Dark Archive

See you later, Gurni! You'll won't get hard feelings from me about this, so no worries and get your RL stuff done!

Dark Archive

Male Human Summoner lv1

I will probably be summoning earlier than I thought. CR 7? This will be awesome!

Dark Archive

Hearing the voice from inside made Ray's heart start to pound. He was so stupid! Why would they have been waiting outside of their own hideout? It made no sense! Gripping his quarterstaff, Ray mutters a prayer to Desna and hurries into the building.
