It is my understanding that your followers can indeed have character levels and not just NPC levels. The reasoning behind this is from the Ultimate Campaign book. In it there is a Story Feat that has Leadership as a prerequisite and has the following text.

Stronghold (Story)
You seek to build a bastion against which your enemies
shall break like water against the rocks.
Prerequisites: You must have the Leadership feat and
must lead at least 10 combat-capable followers (such as
fighters or rangers).

Seeing as it uses fighters and rangers as a reference instead of warrior, adept or expert I think its safe to assume they can be those classes.

I use HeroLab for character creation and if the programming of the rules holds true on there then there is indeed increased followers for leadership scores above 25. I made a character on there just to test out the numbers without any other boosts to leadership. I can increase the score manually to see how many followers I would get at each increment. Here they are. You are welcome.

Leadership Scores above 25
score......levels...1......2......3......4......5......6

26...................168.....16.....8......4......2......2
27...................202.....20....10......5......3......2
28...................252.....25....12......6......3......2
29...................303.....30....15......8......4......2

34...................851.....85....42.....21.....11......6
35..................1021....102....51.....26.....13......7

they continue to increase but I stopped at 10 additional levels

I took some creative license with Nocticula and her involvement with things but I think it works out well. Deskari's minions were originally outed by Aroden when he was still human long before the worldwound opened. Deskari held a grudge as Demon lords do. He 'hired' Nocticula to assassinate Aroden and before she finished him off made a deal with him. Aroden would be allowed to be reborn and rise in power again as an adventurer (a wizard PC in my game though he won't realize his destiny till much later in the campaign) and once he is again a Deity he would support Nocticula's desire to become a Deity as well instead of just a Demon Lord. Her helping the PC's and working against Deskari and Baphoment, trying to curry favor with the other Deities involved with the campaign supports this concept.

2 people marked this as a favorite.

Potato Bombs. sack of potatos with explosive runes on each, when infiltrating a building rolling a potato down the hall to the guards. They pick them up and read the rune, boom. DM's hate the annoyingly creative ways I can use any spell.

Once in that wild shape you can alter the size with different spells such as Animal Growth or if you wild shape into a humanoid you can use Englarge.

Did you take into account that she is a Half-Succubus, racial bonus of +10 to Con. Maybe some other Deskari granted boon for the last 10pts.

Before even considering if this is a possibility, I'd be more curious/worried about the players' reaction to this change. I know if I was in their position, I would be fairly unhappy with such a development.

One of them I know likes fluid characters that change over the course of the story. The other kinda goes with the flow as well. Having characters change and become mutilated by force is a common thing in games we play with him as the DM. Having this come as a 'boon' from Ragathiel which they both worship I think will lessen the blow.

I'm currently running WOTR and my players are just about to assault the Gray Garrison. Before character creation I told them the available options for races were the core races and 'maybe' a Aasimar. Somehow two of the players connived their way into playing Tieflings and its causing lots of issues with NPC reactions. I was thinking that when the event at the end of the module happens and they get infused with all the holy energy making them mythic, could it also 'cure' them of being Tieflings? Perhaps making them human or switching to Aasimar? Leaving their stats and abilities the same wouldn't be a problem and I could easily say its just a cosmetic change of their appearance. Any comments, advice or suggestions would be appreciated.

What's stopping Evil characters from preparing Cure spells and using wands?

There are some self healing feats or abilities any class can take in the Healing Handbook.
