Well deserved. Thanks for all the time you put into coordinating and running games. I suppose this means you're gonna start demanding double-wide tables each week now?

SHIELD WALL!!!!!

I am looking to make a sword and shield character to play with friends for PFS. They currently have a Viking (archetype) and Battle Cleric, both with shields and the Shield Wall and Saving Shield feats - I want to take these as well. I was looking at Ranger to add some skills into the mix, but am open to other classes (besides paladin - lawful good doesn't fit with a raiding party). Is ranger feasable, or would a straight fighter fit better for survivability, or possibly some form of multiclass? I have yet to multiclass or stray far from the realm of ranged combat. Thanks for any advice you might have.

Human - found this feat outline for S/S from Ginsu Master

1. Improved Shield Bash H- Shield Wall
2. Two Weapon Fighting (Combat Style bonus Feat)
3. Power Attack
4. N/A
5. Boon Companion
6. Improved Two Weapon Fighting (Combat Style bonus Feat)
7. Shield Slam
8. N/A
9. Shield Focus (or something else...)
10. Two Weapon Rend (Combat Style bonus Feat)
11. Shield Master

Just wanted to drop a note of thanks for the time you put into this. We will be using your maps tomorrow, and It was really awesome of you to provide them in pdf format ready to go. Thanks again.

Heyas!

Running Pathfinder Society Scenario #42: Echoes of the Everwar—Part II: The Watcher of Ages (PFRPG) Wednesday(tomorrow) at 8 PM EST. One of our regulars missed this mod locally, so we are running online for him and have room for a couple of players. We will be using roll20.net and Skype for audio. Accounts are free, let me know if you'd like to join us. We are a laid back and fun group.

The mod is for levels 7-11. The Everwar series 1-3 does not have to be played in order. I will run the other 2 as well, followed by the conclusion.

I'll provide scanned signed chronicle sheets in PDF format.

Starting a new character with a buddy who is playing a paladin (divine defender most likely).

This may be asking too much -

We want a sort of norse feel and to utilize the "shield wall" teamwork feat. I want my character to rush into the front lines without spending 2 rounds buffing. Can you recommend a good teammate for the paladin? We won't ever know who is at the table with us ahead of time, so we'd like to be self sufficient. We both enjoy playing defensively, but I'm worried that going oracle or battle cleric + divine defender will drag fights out too long. Killing quicker rather than constant healing seems to work better at PFS mods I've played.

Any thoughts for a frontline partner for the Paladin? Is the shield wall feat not worth it? Thanks for any input you have.

There is a viking archetype in the book.

Thanks Adam! Downloaded the PDF and the archetype seems pretty cool. Does anyone know when these archetypes become legal for PFS?
