Thanks!

So far I've been looking at the encounters and been thinking about how I would alter each to a group of evil PCs sent to the Greenbelt.

I think their goal would be to prime the area for an offensive to expand the small undead kingdom. Corrupting sacred sites, raising undead for an army, gathering allies, defeating defenders of the forest, etc would all be their goals.

Oleg's could be their first step. Perhaps they would need to turn him and his wife into undead and the tradepost into the lich's first foothold in the area.

I'll keep working on it and see what happens.

Hrm, I hadn't thought of the swordlords being the undead. I had imagined the PCs coming from a completely different land and working against the four groups that the Swordlords had sent.

Hey folks,

Has anyone ever run or thought of running a variant on this campaign where the PCs are servants of an undead lord (vampire/lich/something or other) that come to the Greenbelt to secure lands for their Lord and Master?

I'm planning on coming up with a conversion for 3 players, once I figure out how to translate undead races well. I was thinking of building the undead races as classes and doing a gestalt campaign where one side of the gestalt was the undead race.

Thoughts?

Yeah, we'll see. They are higher power builds and there's six of them. I'm trying to resist the urges to PUNISH THEM FOR THEIR INSOLENCE.

The group is a cryptic, cleric, magus, barbarian, alchemist, and urban ranger.

Hey guys,

So the group, all six of them, just kicked in the front door of the Old Fishery. Two of them are going in through there while 2 are going in through the door to A8 at the bottom of the stairs and 2 more at the door to A6.

Are they about to get boned? I get the feeling they are.

Ah, good! Thanks!

I'm a GM. Checking it out now.

I'm starting a CotCT campaign on a PbP website and am in the application process. Several players have their characters being kicked out of the Acadamae, but I was under the impression that any drop outs or those kicked out were actually kept as experiments. What're your thoughts?

Thanks, I appreciate the thought anyway. Adding the history is a great idea, too!

Nicely handled! I hadn't even thought of having two newspapers vying for the public's attention. I may just *yoink* that idea. Thanks!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Has anyone thought of running a newspaper as a hand out to give the players from time to time? I could see it being useful for rumors, getting a feel for the populace, and spreading fear about the plague in 7DttG. Plus, I imagine a gnome editor running the whole thing as a great NPC.

Any thoughts?
