Any chance we might be able to see Half Giants in PF2E? I've had a few players asking because they have certain characters they want to build that would be best as Large sized humanoids.

If there's another way to accomplish this, or any word on a future release, please let me know. They'll be excited. I'd also be excited to see Dragonkin and Uplifted Bears now that we've had the Starfinder crossover.

I'm also curious about non-human halfsies, and adding additional options for the other half. Like Dwarven half gnome.

Thanks!

How do I find out what is on the Curated list for Avid Collector - Core Rulebook, and Esoteric Spellcaster - Core Rulebook? Do I have to buy it to know what's in it?

Also, how do I get access to spells in other books? For example, Sun Blade out of Lost Omens Character Guide would be perfect for my Paladin of Iomedae as he uses no ranged weapons. But, it has the Uncommon trait, so I cannot just select it. Unless I missed something, and I would like to know what that is.

Thank you!

Small request for those who format the PFS scenarios.

Is there any chance that the battle maps could be moved to the Appendix, after the handouts but before the encounters? There are so many times that important text flows from one page to another, and gets interrupted by a battle map. This becomes even more vexing when there are multiple encounters close together, and you have to skip 2 pages of maps to finish reading a sentence.

Could we also get more clarification as to where players and opponents start? Some scenarios are great about this, while others completely lack any indications.

Thanks! That's my pair of coppers.

Sorry if this end up posted multiple times, seems I'm having some technical issues.

My December shipment had an error, so I emailed customer service on December 8th. I have still recieved no reply, so I'm posting the info here. Please rectify. Thank you.

Hey all! I just got my subscription box and tore into it, so excited to see the new goodies. Things got a little confusing when I saw a Starfinder AP book, because I had canceled that subscription a few months back. Then, after checking the receipt, I realized I should have received the Troubles in Otari Flip-mat. Looks like one of my items got swapped with someone else's. Oops, it happens.

While I'm sure my flip-mat will be on its way soon after you read this email, I'm wondering if you want this book back. If so, how do I get it to you?

Thanks for all the hard work you guys do! I do S/R for a metal shop and have worked in warehousing before, it's not an easy job and very thankless, so I wanted to convey appreciation with this message.

Just wondering if players can use a Playtest character in PFS games. If so, can it only be a new level 1 character? Or, can players create a playtest character using the XP Reputation and Gold of an established character and apply the Chronicle Sheet to that character? This would be much like using a Pre-Gen if you don't have your character sheet on hand, only you're creating a playtest character to see how well it functions in PFS play.

The main reason I suggest this is because of time. Many of us only have enough time in our schedules to play when we're already committed to keeping our local Organized Play campaign going. This would help us stay active in our dwindling membership and be able to playtest at higher levels. It could also present a draw for some players who have dropped out and are reluctant to join the online version of our campaign.

That's my pair of coppers, I hope it helps.

Game on!

As we're doing all of our gaming via virtual spaces these days, and therefore creating digital files for all of our paperwork, I was wondering; Has anyone done a Fillable PDF of the Event Reporting Form? Or how about adding that feature to the PDFs of the Scenarios? Right now I'm using Adobe and just using the Fill and Sign tool. But it would be cool to have the boxes lined up and be able to just Tab between everything.

I've never generated a Fillable PDF so I don't know how easy or hard it is, so I figured I'd ask if it's already been done before I spend a few hours messing it up.

Thanks!

Would it be at all possible to convert some of the more popular scenarios from 1st edition converted over to 2nd edition in a way that would be approved for use in PFS approved play with chronicle sheets?

It would be helpful for getting our local stores running 2nd edition at full pace. My local venue currently runs PF and SF on opposite weekends. My Wife's venue, however, is not interested in running SF, so they run PF EVERY Friday. With what's currently available, they are going to run out of adventures pretty quick.

Thanks!

Approximately 30 minutes after events opened my wife and I had nothing to play. Gone, all gone. Every game we wanted to play was sold out. I had even built our wish list last week so I could get in the line. But after I hit submit list I was put in line behind 4700 other lists. By the time my list got up, every event on it was sold out. We ended up getting seats in 2 games. That's it.

After working all of gencon last year, and scheduled to work all of Origins this year, we were really looking forward to enjoying ourselves at Gencon by playing our high level characters in one last hurrah at Gallowspire.

I'm hoping that more seats will open up for the specials, but I doubt it. See you there.

I'm looking for either a Pawn of, or a full body image that I can turn into a Pawn of, Ambrus Valsin. He is notably missing from the Pathfinder Society Pawns Collection, along with several other faction leaders. I figured the omission of several key characters is because they are not involved in combat encounters. But, I like to run things a little different, and often set up a map with pawns for social encounters too.

Does anyone know where I might be able to find either option? A few google searches only resulted in the bust shot typically found in many PFS scenarios.

Thanks for any help!

I'm sure there is already a place for these questions/ requests/ suggestions, but I did not see it. I'm not really known for my google-fu, so if this post gets moved to a more appropriate location, I'm ok with that. Anyway, I had a thought on something I'd like to see incorporated into 2E and figured I'd share with the group.

Identifying monsters and info about them: Currently a knowledge skill check is made vs a certain DC to gain info about an encounter "creature." Would it be possible to incorporate text into the top of the stat block for said "creature" what skill is required and an appropriate DC? This is something that can help both new GMs and experienced GMs who simply cannot remember the classifications and DC determining factors.

Thanks!

How exactly does a Rogue with the trapfinding ability disarm a spell that is cast as a trap?

Just curious.

I have situation about to come up in my home game with a Paladin with Smite Evil and her Marshal Path Ability of Clarion Call, versus a creature with DR/Epic. Smite Evil per RAW says, "Regardless of the target, smite evil attacks automatically bypass any DR the creature might possess."

The Clarion Call RAW says, "You bestow your wrath on your allies. As a swift action, you can expend one use of mythic power to grant all allies within 30 feet the benefits of your active smite or challenge ability, directed at the same opponent you’re targeting with that ability. Only the constant effects from the smite or challenge are conferred with this ability, not the ones you can use only once. This ability lasts a number of rounds equal to your tier or until either the combat ends or the subject of the smite or challenge is dead or unconscious."

By my reading of this, I would have to say that all allies within 30 feet of the Paladin at the time she uses Clarion Call CAN bypass the DR/Epic for a number of rounds equal to the Paladin's tier, but they would not gain the benefit of double damage vs. Evil Outsiders, Evil Dragons, or Undead.

Am I correct in this interpretation?

Considering that there are going to be 8 PC's on the board for this fight, that sub-boss is going to go down pretty quick. Could anyone suggest any ways to help alleviate this negation of what should be a potent defensive ability? BTW, I am NOT considering GM fiat of, "It just doesn't work."

Most of the adventure, I had a great time. The atmosphere of the group setting was electric. Dozens of tables working together to achieve strategic goals was a lot of fun. But honestly, it would he like having most of a great dinner and someone leaving a wet messy defocation on it before you finish.

Spoiler:
Are the DMs supposed to hand pick monsters that can kill your paladin in a single shot while specifically picked so that only one member of your party can actually overcome any of its numerous resistances? +19 attack +15 damage, 2 attacks per round CR6. And the consolation after consecutive twins was that they didn't use power attack. Really? Is that supposed to make me feel better about half our party becoming a smear on the ground?

And then, after all of your efforts, after watching your friends characters get wiped off the boots of a pair of half fiend minotaurs, you are thanked for your service with chronicle sheet crap. I think I'm not supposed to really reveal what's on it, but for anyone else who played subtier 3-4, you know what I'm talking about. +1, 5%? Really? I just saved your city!

So, maybe next year I will consider a different event for that time slot. I'm really hoping a lot of others enjoyed it more than I did.

Just my $0.02. Oops, I don't even have that after paying for raise dead.

Does anyone know of any feat or other special ability or even a trait that can make it possible to use sneak attack damage in an attack of opportunity?

I know that ordinarily you cannot, but there has got to be something out there somewhere. Please help my rogue find it. Thanks!

Just curious; Can Magic Stone be cast on Alchemical Bullets for Firearms? I did not find anything on the forums saying that there was a ruling already. Thanks!

So we just got our copy of Champions of Purity, and I was stoked to read it. Going through, I found a trait, Weapon of Peace, that would be PERFECT for my wife's Paladin. Trouble is, she HAS played it as a 2nd level character.

Now, before I get the automatic response of, "Too Late" please let me explain.

The character concept is of a redeemer, a true sword of justice and mercy allowing those who have done wrong to be captured and brought to justice having a chance to repent and change their ways. So the character was intended to be able to use non-lethal damage.

Before she leveled the character up to level 2 to play locally, we were trying to find a trait or feat that would allow making attacks with a sword and doing non-lethal damage. We found one in Blood of Angels, but found out that the numerical variant traits are NOT PFS legal, but no one we spoke to could provide an alternative, nor could we find one. So she took a Racial trait and a Faith trait instead.

In game play, she has taken the -4 penalty in nearly every combat in order to do the Non-Lethal damage except when fighting undead or evil outsiders. Also, whenever she has dropped a standard foe, she takes a round to try to stabilize them so they can be taken back and turned over to the authorities.

So, now that new rules have been released, I was wondering if restrictive exceptions could be made. Or, would she have to re-boot the character? Spend the feat to get the Extra Traits Feat? Or, is there another feat out there that we have missed that would reduce the penalty for using lethal weapons for Non-lethal damage?

Thanks for any help!
