Professor Rokannon frowns and closes his eyes in concentration for a moment.
Professor Rokannon nods, ready to go downstairs. He concentrates on Detect Magic as he does.
"Certainly young man." Professor Rokannon accepts the wand.
Professor Rokannon thinks on the problem.

Curious, Professor Rokannon inspects the ring, casting Detect Magic.
Round 4_____________ Again, Professor Rokannon fires his Wand of Magic Missiles at the Mummy.
Round 3_____________ He pull his Wand of Magic Missiles and fires one at the Mummy. points of force damage.
Round 2_____ Professor Rokannon casts Snapdragon Fireworks at the mummy, the golden flaming dragon trailing a blaze of sparks as it weaves its way to burst with a flash on the target. The mummy will take fire damage and is Dazzled unless it makes a Reflex save DC16 for half damage and negate the Dazzled condition.
Shaking off the paralyzing influence, Professor Rokannon casts Acid Splash at the monstrous aberration.
Yeah, when you edit the 'Campaign Info' tab, you can change the Players and Characters information via those clicky boxes that pop up then.
Fail! Paralyzed.
Disappointed at not discovering something of worth, Professor Rokannon reluctantly withdraws to a far corner.
Professor Rokannon approaches the sarcophagoi and the chains. He casts Detect Magic and inspects them with interest.
Professor Rokannon nods his agreement with Karl and waves at him; Lead on!
"Hm. It appears to be little more than a study; or perhaps a museum of sorts. Nothing else really stands out. I suppose we can move along here."
Professor Rokannon peers about at the contents of the room, and the room and doors.
"Hm. No magic to speak of; looks like they were preserved by alchemical means."
Professor Rokannon concentrates and opens his senses to Detect Magic.
Professor Rokannon walks over the bridge, stopping and examining various construction elements on the way.
Professor Rokannon explores about the main building, paying especial attention to the Library and Smoking rooms. He lingered lovingly amongst the special volumes and pipes there, but resisted the opportunity to loot; at least for now. He opened his senses to the detection of enchantments, but to no avail.
Professor Rokannon concentrates on Detect Magic on the jewelry and in the various other areas upstairs.
Professor Rokannon will take a walk through the room, Detecting Magic all the while.
"Hm. I suppose you wouldn't. Until it starts trying to kill you. Much like any guard dog, only these animated furniture cannot bark."
Professor Rokannon picks up and leafs through the interesting looking academic texts on the table.
Professor Rokannon holds steady at the back.
It's not precisely the picture I have in my mind (he's a bit younger and more distinguished), but pretty close. I wish I could find one of him smoking a pipe. (Stupid modern political fads...)

Professor Rokannon approaches and studies the portrait closely.

Professor Rokannon crouches down to cross the bridge, a little stiffly as he is unused to doing that.
Professor Rokannon hesitates, but nods in agreement.
Professor Rokannon stands off a little way and lights a pipe. He looks skeptical of the operation.
Professor Rokannon casts Snapdragon Fireworks on one of the fallen-but-regenerating trolls.
Also, Professor Rokannon offers to cast Dancing Lights in the form of "one faintly glowing, vaguely humanoid shape". He can move it out up to 150 yards away and move it at up to 100'/round, as long as it is in line of sight. This might be enough to lure the Trolls/Trollhounds into our killzone, and he can cast it without voiding the Invisibility Sphere.
Previous to ambush, casts Invisibility Sphere on allies.

Once per round, as a move action, you may designate a target 5-foot-square within range and launch a pyrotechnic in that direction. The pyrotechnic takes a zigzag path from you to that square, always missing creatures and objects in its path, and detonates in that square with a bang and a colorful burst of fire and light. Creatures in the target square take 1d4 points of fire damage and are dazzled for 1 round (Reflex half, a successful save negates the dazzled condition). Normally when this spell is used as part of a festival, the chosen target is high in the sky to increase visibility and protect observers.
Professor Rokannon shakes his head sadly.
"I suppose they could be hired guards, but if Alpon doesn't recognize them..."
