Yup, I think this campaign is as dead as Pharasma's embrace. Maybe Phaust will resurface in another campaign. Happy holidays, one and all.

Sleeping in far corner of the church, Phaust rises to find his body still ached from the night(?) before, but the majority of his wounds healed.
The Pharasmin prayed to his god, then started the day, doing minor repairs to his gear until the growling of his stomach made him rise.
"Please tell me this temples has some food left."

Phaust sighs as his wounds heal. "Thanks".
The pharasmin agent starts to puts his armor back on.

Sounds good, but first", says Phaust as he begins to take off his armor, "I would like someone to looks at these." The Pharasmin's chest and arms has multiple wounds and bite marks.

I'm willing to stick it out.
And honestly Crayfish, you have been able to really capture the proper horror elements to this story. Great job!

"Okay. Let's get you back to the church." Phaust offers the dwarf a shoulder to help walk him back.

Phaust slowly makes through the bodies to find the last one at the bottom. It appears to the Pharasmin that someone defiled the birthing process for dark purposes, a process that falls under two goddesses: Pharasma and Lamashtu. Phaust relays his thoughts to Haltak.

Phaust nods as Akurna takes the boy out of the cave.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18

Carefully putting his gandasa away, Phaust does down on one knee, and speaks tenderly as he can to the traumatized child.
"Come here, child. Come with us and we will take you some place safe."
As the pharasmin offers his hand, he hopes he can make due on his promise to the child.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

Phaust stares down at the serpent-sigiled sword with open distain.
"Yeah, let's go".

Phaust continues to fight on like a man possessed.
Gandasa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
Dmg.: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 1) + 1 = 5

Will Save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
After the vicious attack from the wolf-headed woman, Phaust is thrown to the ground. After Akurna's attack, the wolf-headed woman howls rings through the pharasmin's head.
Dazed and blooded, Phaust gets off the ground to press the attack, but is unsure if the monster is still here.

With furious focus, Phaust attacks wolf woman with his gandasa.
Gandasa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Dmg.: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (2, 3) + 1 = 6

"Good, sort of", conceded Phaust. "I wasn't the only one to see it, then".

"We'll talk about it. After we get back to the church", spoke Phaust, looking around in all directions. "Let's go."

Phaust quickly turn around in the direction of the black wolf. After it leaves, the Pharasmin asks, "Okay. Please tell me I'm not the only one who saw that!"

The pharasmin looks up at the looming moon and scowls, "Yes. I have a feeling this 'new scripture" is going to be the tip of the iceberg of what is to come."
Phaust once again makes a rude gesture at the massive satellite.

Phaust follows the cleric's example. The Pharasman agent bends down to examine the weapon.
"Interesting weapon. May be magical", Phaust guesses.

Always positive. Being an undead slayer, Phaust wants to destroy undead, not empower it.

"You can back the fu<* up right now!"
Phaust unleashes a burst of channeled energy.
Channel Energy: 1d6 ⇒ 5

Stealth: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Phaust follow the clerics into the cave, gandasa in hand.

Makes me wonder if Paizo had a DDOS attack.

"If I have to drag you both back to the church", grumbled Phaust, "I will"!
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

"Fair enough", concedes Phaust. Having the dwarf hold the light for the others, the ustalavan assists in Akurna's investigation.

"Agreed." With that, Phaust helps walk Haltak back to the church.

Crayfish said it wasn't undead, so my Knowledge (religion) is useless, but I can check if it's an outsider.
Knowledge (planes): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (1) + 9 = 10 Well, that don't help.

Phaust shakes his head. "That's a new one on me. Do we have everybody?"

"I've got a sunrod", Phaust states. The church agent pulls off his backback to find the sunrod.

The gray-skinned Phaust gurgles, "I'll have whatever you're offering." Stunned by his own faux pas, Phaust continues "I-I didn't mean it to sound like that."

Whincing from the pain, Phaust shoves his blade up, deep into the beast.
Gandasa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24
Dmg.: 2d4 + 1 + 2d4 + 1 + 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 3) + 1 + (4, 4) + 1 + (3, 3) + 1 = 23 D-A-M-N!!!

Phaust curses at the large wound in his chest.
The ustalavian man's visage starts to waver. Phaust's skin darkens to a deep gray, while his hair lightens to a bright white under the glare of his ioun stone.

Phaust advances on the closest monster, silvered gandasa in hand, and attacks.
Gandasa: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Dmg., if it hits: 2d4 + 1 ⇒ (3, 2) + 1 = 6

Since Phaust has Temporal Celerity (Su), roll his initiative twice, giving him the best result.

Okay. It's clear I mistook the angry ball of light for some kind of monster, instead of the moon, my bad.
Phaust drops down of the rock to last next to the dwarf.
"Come on, Haltak", urges Phaust, "you tell me your dwarven eyes can't see through the gloom?"
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17

Startled by the scene before him, Phaust answers back, "Yep. I found him. Time to draw weapons!"
Phaust tries to figure out what the angry ball of light is.
Knowledge (religion): 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29 MAX, BABY!

Drawing his gandasa, Phaust climbs over the rock, ready to attack.

"After you then", shrugged Phaust. "Be mindful of the beartraps."

The Pharasman agent gives Akurna a sideways glance. "You do realize how crazy that sounds?" Looking to the human male next to him for support. "Are you sure, cleric?"

"Come on", motioned Phaust. "we'll either find the dwarf or what took him."

"Where the hell did that thing come down?!"

Assisting in carefully walking out of the beartraps, Phaust helps Akuna find the way through the darkness.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12 Crud!

Looking to the others, Phaust comments on the new light source.
"Excellent. I'll work on these beartraps. We will follow you as soon as Akurna is free."
Turning to his work, Phaust wills the ioun stone in front of him, and removing his thieve's tools from his armor, Phaust begins his work on safely removing the beartraps.

Phaust is conflicted on where to go first, but since he heard Akurna, he figures it must be.
Looking back to those that followed, Phaust asked, "Do any of you have any light source to find what came down in the trees? I hope it's the dwarf."

"Akurna! AKURNA!" Phaust shouts into the night. "Godsdammit! Where's she go?"
Phaust then realizes he's lost his headings.
Akurna! Haltak!"

Running back to the others, Phaust questions, "Did you hear that? Sounds like something big came down a little ways north. Let's go!"

Unable to effectively pose a counter-attack, Phaust runs out of the church, trying to get a heading for this 'dark bird of prey', weapons at the ready.

"I think it twas the dog that were bleeding there lad...but I like your optimism."

"Well, that's Pharasmin for you", Phaust remarked, "we're all little balls of sunshine and rainbows".

Phaust mutters to the darkness. "Nice try. I'm not gonna run blindly into darkness and hope for the best."
Phaust points out the trail to the others. "If it bleeds, we can kill it" Haha.
"Stay close and alert", requests Phaust, "this either might be a trap or it might DEFINITELY be a trap!"

With a swift motion, Phaust dons his wooden shield, and steps out on the church's landing, gandasa at the ready, his ioun stone dimly lighting the way ahead.

Phaust attempts to hold Horec until all are ready.
"Hold on there, Swordlord!"
